This is in case anyone comes to the forums to look up candyflipping and finds my glowing report - please be aware and take care of yourself.
So there, a pinch of salt to quell my conscience. Stay safe, all TE
Big thumbs up to you sir, keeping it real and us safe. Thank you brother, mush love. DJ Ed

i'd candyflipped with shrooms and molly last week for the first time and share your sentiments, I was definitely in love with the experience while rolling, but after the come down and being clear minded a few days later I felt the experience offered me nothing more than pure recreation.

I tried the lemon balm tea last night which supposedly counters the come up anxiety. To give an honest appraisal of whether it worked would be unrealistic because there were quite a few other variables, stuff I did last night that I don’t usually do before / during tripping:
I had a strong coffee beforehand, when normally I’d have a decaf. It was the first batch from my latest grow (which I firmly believe are from poor genetics, so after another trial I’ll probably be throwing them all Away!) I boiled the tea down too far, though it didn’t run dry. I put a lemon balm teabag in the tea for the last 5 minutes simmering time.
So did the lemon balm work? In. A word, yes. Would I use it again? In a word, no.
It basically put me to sleep for the first hour. Then I got a headache, which rarely happens. This lasted all night, and I still have it today. Barely tripped last night but I feel like shit this morning! After about an hour, with concentration I got some closed eye visuals for about an hour. My head and body was buzzing like I was on speed. And that was it. So the lemon balm basically anaesthetises you for the first hour, and if you’re using decent mushrooms, after that hour is up, you’ve arrived in the peak. Yes. You lose the first hour of the trip. For me, this actually detracts from the experience, and as you put it above re: candyflipping, makes it essentially a recreational use only type of thing, for someone who is not actually that serious about exploring the benefits of psychedelics.
Just my opinion, you’re all free to try the lemon balm yourselves, but I for one won’t be using it again.
Now my 14 year old daughter who suffers from (social media) anxiety, just like the rest of our tennagers; well, the lemon balm may be useful for her......
Take care all, DJ Ed

Absolutely, pal. I’d be really nervous about giving it to her without a lot more research. I was a bit stupid taking it myself without fully researching it first! And I too was amazed at how powerful it was for something I ordered off Amazon. It may come in useful for the next “Stoptober” when I struggle to sleep for the first week!
Regarding the poor mushroom genetics. I’m not so sure now. Taken loads of advice from the great folks on here and guess what; I should have made the lemon balm tea first, NOT with the mushrooms. I reckon the lemon balm has soaked up all the mushroom psychoactives!
Take care, DJ Ed
