Everything looking okay with these BRF cakes?

Howdy, I'm on my first grow (PF Tek). I have these 4 1/4-pint jelly jars of BRF cakes that I birthed last Saturday, dunked for ~20hrs, then put in a SGFC on Sunday after rolling in verm. These 4, for whatever reason, colonized much faster than my other 12 jars - I assume there's just that much variability with multi-spore. I DID let these 4 consolidate for 5-7 days, depending on the jar in question. If it's relevant, 3 of the jars are Golden Teacher, 1 of them is B+ - I believe the back left, but I forgot to label and could be wrong.
I've been misting 3-4 times a day. I live in a high desert/really dry climate. They get indirect sunlight from a large North-facing window for about 10 hours.
So I know it's only been 4.5 days since the cakes were placed in the SGFC, and I don't see anything overtly concerning. I'm not worried about anything yet, maybe a little impatient and mostly just curious if they are communicating some need that I'm not experienced enough yet to recognize. When I read other posts from people at this stage of a grow, I see a lot of responses from people who can see that the myc is too wet/dry or needs more FAE. Since I am not experienced enough to recognize those signs yet, I was just hoping to get someone else's opinion on how these cakes are looking.
Bonus points if you can give me an estimation to when I might start seeing some pinning! In the picture with just the one cake (the back left one), is the bottom of the cake starting to form hyphal knots, or is that aerial myc?
Last question: Should I be misting the cakes directly or only indirectly? I've been doing directly, about 2 ft from the cakes, just a few sprays. I'm seeing conflicting info and am not sure what is the up-to-date advice on that. I'm also spraying the sides and lid of the chamber.
Thanks in advance!

Cakes look fine. Mist the cakes directly. The mushrooms are not growing out of the plastic. you'll see pins soon.

Group the cakes closely together. They'll for their own microclimate and you'll have better conditions for pins.
Mycelium and mushrooms get rained on all the time in the outdoors. A spray bottle won't do anything except cause a little blue bruising if you really let them have it. Lol.
No need to spray the sides of the SGFC or eve the perlite for that matter. If you hydrated your perlite like you should have. Itll hold enough water for something like 3 weeks before it needs to be hydrated again.
It hard to tell when pins will pop up on cakes. But my guess would be within the week.

Thanks for the replies! I'll move them closer together and start concentrating the misting on the cakes themselves.

Make sure when you mist that water doesn't pool on top or under them.
So far so good. I see slight aerial myc in that second picture but I've never been able to avoid it with a SGFC. I'm currently trying the Humidity Chamber with coir to compare.

I never got into cakes but when you guys say mist them directly I’m imagining just blasting them with the sprayer for some reason. That can’t be it right.
I assumed you mist cakes similar to tubs, set it to as fine a spray possible and kind of spray out over them so it falls down onto everything.
