How old is your soul?

Have you considered how old your soul is?
This would, of course imply some sort of concept like reincarnation or "rebirth: of a soul.
Have you always felt you were of a particular age or time frame?
Like if a man were to be born into war in the 1400's and lose his family, and be reborn multiple times , and then recall lives post Crusades, it would all sound like heresay and delusion of course with no proof
Sometimes I feel like my soul is a baby, and like fresh yeasted bread is still rising to this life and understanding the echoes to the afterlife.
Some people are sure of their past lives, but most of the 6 billion people on Earth are oblivious to this " so called fact" I think.
I'm just torn between my soul being 2000 years old or 2. Or if that is even a question as to if it's 20,000 years old or 2 million.
I trust God and the higher powers and my own power to bring light to these subjects. My own power is the one I'm sure of, but that I know is the weakest, " for in the wind, I am but a grain of sand" as they say.
SO where does your soul lie in the history books? Your birthday?

Just think about it, what's a year? Only the "time" it takes for a particular planet to rotate around a particular star. So how can we age a soul when time is meaningless outside of our experience here?

My oldest son I’m certain was reincarnated. He was like a little old man when he was a baby. Get mad when you turn off the news, shit himself, laugh at wrestling. He’s also super intelligent, learned asl before he could talk, doing college level classes in 6th grade. Ex wants him to apply for memsa or what ever it’s called. He’s still also a stupid kid though, likes edm and wants to moonlight as a club dj between his computer programming work... Lol

This living soul is 66 years, 5 months, and several days old. The atoms that comprise my body are billions of years old born of elements created in a dying star. Only Eternity is Eternal. Now whether Eternity is impersonal, personal, transpersonal, or all of the above is the question.

I question if all souls are the same age, and are all actually the same soul, fragmented.

No need to question. Souls are a pluralistic term for a concept that probably does not exist in Reality. Soul, from the Old German 'seele,' really harkens back to the Greek Psyche (mind or butterfly). An individual soul is a linguistic convention but if you think about it, psyche is not a material 'thing' which 'goes' somewhere, it is a reality that accompanies a living being, like a 'field' effect in physics. If you grind up or melt a magnet, there is no material around which a magnetic field can form. The magnet doesn't really create its field, it 'channels' the magnetic field of the Earth. Similarly, our psychophysical 'soul' (we don't 'have' a soul biblically speaking, we ARE a living soul, a mind-body, psychosomatic being). The spirt (pneuma) is likewise not a 'thing,' but may well pertain to the mind's (psyche's) Realization that we all 'channel' Cosmic Consciousness like that magnet 'channels' the Earth's magnetic field. Being Fully-Realized might mean Understanding that our "True Nature" is in God, Cosmic Consciousness, and moreover, as our earthly identity slips away and the Light of Reality increases, the meaning of resurrection might mean that Realization of having been that Eternal Underlying Reality all along. We are God playing peek-a-boo with Him-Herself through our individual life experience; in fact every creature's life experience on this and every world.
While my egoic-mind does not like to think about its non-existence, the idea that a disembodied personal identity comprised of memories, reason, will (actually all desires) will continue to exist in a bodiless condition is tantamount to Hell. Fortunately, Eternity does NOT mean endless time. That is a contradiction. Time is NOT Eternal, it had a beginning with space and it will have an end. If Eternity is One without second, indivisible unity, it does not admit of 'parts.' The psychic reality of a soul does not have form, shape, 'edges,' because that suggests dimensions of space which necessarily can only exist in time. Eternity negates multiplicity. I think the concept of soul is a convention which is not as easily dismissed as the concept of having a 'guardian angel,' an entity which has looked out for us and prevented injury and death. The less given to abstraction a person is, the more concrete their concepts are. Thus, children and Concrete Operational adults imagine an after-life of pleasant events in some space-time matrix; golden roads and sunny picnics with Jesus and one's deceased parents and ancestors in some ethereal bodies eating heavenly fare, forever. Or perhaps there are 'celestial virgins' with opalescent skin serving and servicing males in Heaven.
Methinks we need to cease conceptualizing intellectual fictions and attributing reality to them. This is like what Tom Hanks as Chuck Noland did in the film Cast Away when he imparted life and reality to Wilson the volleyball, by transference of a bloody hand-print ("For the life of a creature is in the blood" - Leviticus 17:11).

Well, my soul holds relations to this song in specific the men who talk about loosing people in their life and praying every day and also the judge who reveals itself as an angel.
Seems like " rap" but it's a way deeper meaning. These are the experiences of my soul, which make up the lost weight of a dead person.

Thanks for your vote of confidence Fiery but please take caution with the projection of a 'mana personality' onto me. If I was a wannabe cult leader I would don the cloak you have presented to me, but I'm really just a seeker like a lot of people on these forums. At times I might be presumptuous enough to call myself a philosopher, but I'm certainly not a professional philosopher. I have been blessed in the sense of having used psychedelics judiciously for some 47 years with only a few psychic scars as a result of misuse. I do not have to work any more, I have no obligations, and I can and do live simply with my wife and two cats, Kattegat and Katmandu. Aside from a few hours of select TV use, we read and BE. Yeah, I take care of house, yard, and pool, work out, and think about meditating but we both read a lot, process what we've read and sometimes I like to put my thoughts on The Shroomery. Like everybody else, it's nice to be appreciated for something once in a while, so thanks again.
BTW, I've been reading about the 'weight' of the soul in things like Science Digest since I was in the 10th grade in 1968. Please do not take this as fact. The dead are known to moan, groan, fart, and move. Soul is psyche and psyche is non-material, non-physical. It does not have mass. It does not 'go' anywhere. It is not 'shaped' like a human being as in your video. Forms can only exist in a 4-dimensional matrix of 3 spatial and 1 temporal dimensions. (There may well be many more dimensions but I am not privy to them). Remember that your dreamscapes do not take place in space-time either if you must rely on form. Your dream-ego is only as old as your dream lasts and the dream does not occur in your brain or in your skull but in psyche. When the images begin to become translucent, then transparent, and thoughts cease (even in the dream state), then all there will be is Clear Light, transparent mind. THIS is as far as human consciousness can conceive in terms of a visual idiom. Better to clear your mind of all thoughts and images than to entertain imaginary images of non-existent absolutes.

I don't have to convince you to lead the future generations of Earth to positive means.
If I had kids, and had to pick between you and someome else. who to leave them with, who do you think I would choose?
The fact that you are humble and also know life and are struggling with it speaks so much.
