Sorry, if I have made some rookie mistakes, as I am, in fact, a rookie. So, be merciful.

Habitat:
Alabama, US. Found in low-lying moist woods, comprised of both hardwoods and conifers.

Stem:
Hollow

Spore print color:
I haven’t been able to produce a print.

Bruising:
Haven’t seen any bruising.

Looks like Hyphoma all except for the gill spacing which is more like Galerina which has a similar look all except for color. Can’t confidently say on this one but I’m curious what the others come up with.

Thanks for the reply. I’m not familiar with “hyphoma”, and quick web search didn’t turn up any results. Is it psychoactive perchance?

He meant Hypholoma, which is not active. Looks more like Galerina, but not sure. Just curious, what about this resembles Panaeolus cinctulus?

I gotta say, I’m always envious of the people who can live by that “ah, fuckit” attitude. If anything, I ever only lightly toss caution to the wind, never throw it. Gastrointestinal roulette is a trip all on its own.

I’ve got that ragin strain of PTSD, so anytime I see an LBM I’m dying to give it a go. I’m brand new to this whole shroomin thing, and I was operating under the assumption that there were not many poisonous LBMs. I assumed wrong.
