Sorry about your Mom. Narcissist are very hard to deal with. I once fell in love with a lady with narcisstic traits. Great in the short term, but not great in the long run.

I'm a good person. I help and serve people all the time, every day, other peoples lives are better because I exist. I call a spade a fucking space though, I don't pander to emotional weakness or bow to bullying. That upsets some people, but they can just go and get fucked. I could be a little more empathetic at times. I can be hard, but my openness and kindness offsets that.

If "good" = having infinite tolerance and patience for people whom don't deserve it, and whom probably wouldn't appreciate it anyway, then no lol.

I'm good for the most part.. but overall, I think a lot of people would say I'm not 100% a good person if looking at a map of my do's and dont's, dids and didnts. I bet they'd get all gang mentality about it. Tree's is a POS!!!

Good and evil is a false dichotomy. Nobody is perfect but at least if you're willing to assuage any doubts your lack of perfection you have an ambition to be something in particular rather than hiding behind your achievements. They say a good deed deserves no reward. If that's true then the only time really appropriate to pat yourself on the back is when you've done enough. However, we can always do more, because like a book once claimed, we are all sinners here. Death is the mountain on which we stand to view everything we've done. Before then we are obscured

I am a piece of shit by my own standars, others are piece of shit by my own standars.
Everybody i know consider themselves good by their own standars.
It is just about how hard are your expectations.

I definitely wouldn't call that a good thing. Pandering to peoples emotions is certainly not a positive thing. You only make them weaker.
Good and bad are philosophical standpoints rather than actualities. But being a negative or positive influence in our plane of existence is much easier to mitre. These things can be measured by action and emotion as well. I've met plenty of "had people" who are a positive force and plenty of "good people" who cause negative outcomes more than positive. Just winning the popularity competition and following the rulebooks doesn't make one good, or bad.
I guess it could also boil down to a sense of morality and how well you adhere to it. In that vein it's hard for me to label a person bad when they have a twisted moral compass from horrible life experience. That doesn't mean I like them or think they are any less dangerous or foolish though. Some so called good people have no problem passing these sorts of judgements. That's some dark irony.
It's like the child's story that bad people go to jail. Well they do sometimes, but loads of good people go to jail as well.
