Thanks everyone, feeling the love! They're either supposedly GT or Martinique, for some reason the label on my tub fell off or never made it on. Not sure if I actually got what I ordered though since my last GT grow looked dead nuts like RW with a rusty spore print and all. The only 2 varieties I had when I started this hobby that could look like this would be those two I had previously mentioned, GT and Martinique, so your guess is as good, or probably better than mine lol.

Also how much would you say you misted?

I cant seem to get that part right...

Same tbh. I get best rest results from spawning amd pretty much leaving the thing alone. When i mist, the surface always ends up turning into a slimey mess dispite lot's of fae.
Go figure..

Yea, idk what it is but less is truly more in this hobby. I know people, especially newbies, want to be involved consistently and futz with stuff, but the 7-10 days of just sitting and colonizing with a decently saturated top layer has been my bread n butter so far. Maybe slightly under field capacity with my sub, mix 1:1 and then topped with .25-.5 inch top layer of the same sub and mist heavily. Becomes hands on again once myc breaks surface and it starts drawing water from the top layer. At this point I try to mist enough to keep the top layer dark like it was when spawned, it'll get noticeably lighter in color when most of the water has been sucked out of it by the myc and/or pins.
