Edible agar plates

So I am just starting to get into growing edible mushrooms, and have a bunch on agar, yet can't tell what's the good mycelium and what's not. I went away for a couple weeks and came home to these and want to do some transfers tonight, so any help would be appreciated!
The plates are marked with the 4 letter scientific name code so:
GRFR= Grifola frondosa LASU= Laetiporus sulphureus PHAD= Pholiota adiposa HEER= Hericium erinaceus PLOS= Pleurotus ostreatus

Maybe this is silly to ask but, to clarify, you are starting edible cultures yourself from spores here?

Nah I got some wedges from a member here and transferred them to new plates.
Oh but the chicken of the woods is a tissue culture from a fruit I found
I"m just having trouble knowing what these species mycelium should look like.

Well since you're already working from isolated cultures it should really matter what part of the mycelium you take, just from a healthy area avoiding any contamination. Oyster and lion's mane plates look good, maitake you didn't picture, and the other two I'm not familiar with their mycelium. The one labeled PHAD i'd take from close to your wedge, avoid those other weird areas where some growth appears.

Thanks forrester!
I transferred the oyster and lions mane, and they both resemble mycelium I've seen in pics around here so I'm fairly confident I will have some good cultures soon
I totally forgot to upload the maitake! haha doh
I'll try and snag some stuff from the Pholiota today, but if anyone has any experience with this species, how does the mycelium usually look?
I find it fascinating how each species can have such unique mycelium

it is quite fascinating! I love to watch what happens to plates when you let them overgrow too
