What's hilarious about all this is veterans flexing on Instagram and shit about how bad ass their boy Trump is. Is he not a draft dodger?

Trump would run into a school during a mass shooting. This is the final word of the president.
The Vietnam war was started by a Democrat. They've always been out to get him.

Everybody knows and expects that Trump and the Democrats agree on nothing. It's going to take some high ranking Republicans to inject a little sanity here. It's complicated by the impeachment because it makes it harder for them to break ranks with the President. A real war with Iran has consequences considerably beyond our usual mistakes in the region.
I'm curious about how Russia and China are viewing this.

Foreign policy is bipartisan consensus, especially in regards to Iran.
Sanders is the only big time politician to oppose this bullshit, yet again.

Democrats have as much blood on their hands as anyone.
But I think it's going to be hard to sell this one to the public. That's what I thought about Iraq too, so I'm probably wrong.

Yeah, the Democrats' track record is abysmal.
But Iran is a whole different ball of wax than Iraq ever was, and I think a lot of people, at least to some degree, realize that. But that's really neither here nor there because, as you point out, whenever anyone makes that argument the shit hits the fan, anyway.
I think, though, that it's far from clear how Iran will react to this attack. What if they don't retaliate? What will the war hawks do then?

From reading qman's posts, I think he'll admit the majority of politicians are incompetent to do their jobs on both sides.

Trump started this by violating the Iran nuclear deal. It is entirely his fault.
Anyone who can’t see that trump has been beating the war drums since he got elected is blind

On the day of, there were 4-men swat teams stationed on every train station in NYC. Only other time I remember seeing that was the day of the boston marathon bombing.

It appears they're asking for evidence of ‘imminent’ Soleimani attacks:
Evidence? What evidence? Pompeo shows no proof of ‘imminent’ Soleimani attacks
Quote:
Asked for evidence of the threat posed by Soleimani, the US secretary of state provided little in the way of information.
Instead, he claimed that America’s intelligence agencies gave Trump “multiple pieces of information” proving Soleimani’s nefarious intentions, but declined to say what this information detailed.
Citing Soleimani’s activities in Iraq and Syria, but neglecting to mention that the Quds Force commander was instrumental in the defeat of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) in these countries, Pompeo again gave no specific evidence of any planned attacks.
Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi claimed on Sunday that Soleimani was in Iraq to discuss a possible peace agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

So do you have evidence of imminent Soleimani attacks, or was Russia right that no evidence had been presented?
