Mushroom cultivators have a certain way of looking at the world and this is a thread dedicated to those things of thoughts you realize only someone who’s into growing and studying mushrooms have, Like those silly Jeff Foxworthy redneck jokes, only with our own spin on it.
Here I’ll get it started:
You might be a mycologist if you start the PC before the coffee pot
“ ” All the mason jars in your house have sharpie scribbles on them and you can never find a lid that doesnt have holes in it
“ ” You spend far longer than you should in the storage bin aisle
“ ” You always wonder if its PP5
“ ” You have a dog named Spore

You might be a mycologist if you swear you occasionally catch a whiff of mushrooms randomly when you're outside, and turn to people like "do you smell mushrooms?" for them to say no, then start searching for said mushrooms

Why not both? Btw this is a website mostly populated by people growing drugs in their closets so if you dont like it you can fuck right off or go hang out in MH+I. Or one of the other boards. Besides, I was studying mushrooms for years and grew oysters and king stropharia years before I ever grew a single cube.
Also, drugs are fun,

Dude. Salvation Army has sooo much myco gear. I grabbed an extra dehydrator for 8$ the other day. Found an old PC once but it was missing gaskets.
