How can I copy a hyperlink without having to recreate it?

I just want to copy a cool hyperlink to my journal. But it turns into this whole editing routine to create the link.

You need to copy the code that goes into the post to make the hyperlink.

Thanks Bodhi

1. So by right clicking the Hyperlink to be copied, the url can be copied. Or activate the link and copy the url in the address bar.

2. Then I also learned by highlighting the text that I wanted to be a hyperlink, when the Hyperlink button is pushed the verbiage for the name of the Hyperlink is already there.

3. Then paste the url in...

So I guess it's easier now, but still not a basic simple copy & paste.

If the hyperlink is in a post you could also just quote the post then copy the code from the text box.

That's the easiest way I've found to copy code here, if that's what you meant
