FAE in an automated fruiting chamber with Arduino

Hi everyone,
This is my first attempt at growing mushrooms after 10 years. I had a lot of fun while doing it last time and it resulted in a very profound experience.
Now the thing that kept me from growing mushrooms up to now, was all the manual steps that need to be done, such as fanning the fruiting chamber and so on. I travel regularly and don't spend that much time at home, hence why I decided to build an automated fruiting chamber.
I've already wired the needed sensors and an ultrasonic humidifier and I also plan to add a large computer fan for ventilation. I've been reading a lot in various forums whether I should worry about contamination inside the fruiting chamber and I'm wondering whether I should go along the route of using HEPA filters and an air pump, instead of a computer fan. I also know that the humidifier has a fan that blows in air as well. So far I'm considering growing the mushrooms in my basement, which I wouldn't say is humid, but it's also very far away from being a sterile environment.
So, I've narrowed the architecture to these options:
1) Go with the fan, which will be automatically switched on several times per day 2) Use an air pump and a HEPA filter, which still leaves the air coming from the humidifier unfiltered. Or maybe run that through the HEPA filter too?
Apologies if this has already been discussed many times, I just couldn't come across a consensus on this. I'd appreciate any ideas, I'm planning to create a detailed write up of the whole project if it turns out to be a success.
Thanks

Hey bba, nice to go back after 10 years I would think! Alot of things have changed since you last did a run. You actually don't need any sensors or anything automated except light schedule if you will be out of your house and have your shutters closed. All you need is to make a bulk grow and use a completely unmodified plastic tub. Super simple. Super results. Check these out for your general info:

And specifically give this a read before you spend any more money on filters and equipment you absolutely do not need:

(oops posted the same link twice!)
Good luck!

FAE is passive it happens because of the design of the chamber.
The monotub, while featuring no automation, is actually the most automated fruiting chamber that exists for home cultivation of cubensis mushrooms. You can spawn your tub, immediately from day one of colonization put it into fruiting conditions, go on vacation for 10-14 days and harvest your first flush.

Thanks a lot for your replies. I decided to give bodhisatta's TEKs a try along with just assembling what I already have and running that in parallel.
It was actually quite fun building the whole thing and it would be interesting to compare the results.

Yeah I was just like you and had totally automated chambers with fans for FAE then I learned passive airflow was the way to go. My Chamber of Secrets Light Box has PastyWhytes hole configuration that produces great little fruits but BODs unBobified tek and PastyWhytes Ez Dialed mono are the way to go to understand the concept.
PastyWhytes Ez Dialed Monos... https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26140339#26140339
The only thing I would add is to use liners with any TEK you use due to the fact they give better flushes but that's just my suggestion since a lot of the MYCO GODS use them on all their grows.
