Slow maturing fruits
    #26419860 - 01/06/20 07:17 PM (4 years, 23 days ago)

Okay so here's the deal, I have a 60qt mono tub with 4 MS quarts of cubes on rye spawned to coir/verm using Damion's tek.

I am using the old 10 hole style mono with micropore tape over all the bottom holes with the top holes half covered for better fae.

Anyway, the pineset is really good but uneven due to MS inocculation, and the mush is maturing very slowly. Fruiting conditions seem proper but there is one more important detail to add; this tub is opaque and the only light source is from a bright window shinning sunlight through the holes in the side of the tub.

Is the limited light affecting maturation and or possible size of fruits. I plan to pick the fruits as they mature and hope the rest of the pins will catch up.

One final addition is that I was thinking of possibly bottom watering after harvesting the majority of the larger fruits to ensure the others won't abort but they appear to be healthy. Maybe just heavily mist once the large ones are removed to ensure the rest flush out.

Let me know what you guys think, Thanks!!!

Post some pictures so we know what you're working with.
When did you spawn?
What variety are you growing?

If you can manage to get them more light then it will help yes
