Butyriboletus appendiculatus??

Habitat:
mixed, doug fir, tan oak

Gills:
fat pores, no bruising; but the inside of them in greenish blue

Stem:
club like stem, light pink/red tint, no bruising "notice able"

Cap:
shiny cap

Bruising:
nope

damn, for real? I consider'd boletus edulis, but did not think my pic looked anything like the other pictures. Those greenish blue spores though..i see. thank you

B. appendiculatus has yellow flesh and stains blue. Yours is obviously in the B. edulis group with its white, unchanging flesh and white reticulum.
The greenish hue in the pore surface is from the increasing amount of olive brown spores. B. edulis always starts out with a white pore surface
which gradually turns yellow, then greenish until it is quite dark.

You should be stoked, though, since you got such a delicious mushroom on your hands. :homerdrool:
