Here's a single light setup with a 12 LED Bulb with blue and red color spectrum and white light at 5500k.

Does this look right for proper lighting since there is no option for indirect sunlight/putting by a window?

should do the job. I like to use led strips as they're easy to spread them out if you have tubs and shit

This company use to make 1ft intagrated 1ft models but can only find 2fts now from them. These are super bright cool white (6000-6500k)

EDIT I'm sure just about any led will work with the blues in there but the magenta/fushia/purple are geared to plant photosynthesis with the reds included.

Red light negatively affects pinning. Blue light increases pinning, but also increases trich growth. I am running a 5500W LED shop lamp with cool white light and have no issues, but I have had perfectly fine grows without lights, and with a simple 18โ fluorescent.
Check this out. Not about cubes, but I have done experimentation with my grows that back it up (see the grow logs).

So after looking at experiment why wouldn't red light just not be a pinning factor instead of saying it has any known negative effect.
Isn't red light just not a pinning trigger and doesn't support growth but with the presence of both blue and red light it's hard to say if it's canceling out the positive effects of blue light..
Need more testing on this to definitively say something about the presence of both spectrum's together.
Have looked at another post that claims that the red light just doesn't add anything negative or positive but just that it has no effect on pinning. No hindrance if a spectrum like white(combo spectrum) or blue light is present.
Not sure what the truth is but it certainly is not black and white until further research.

I just got a 15ft 6500 led strip. I was under the impression I could cut it into a bunch of smaller strips and then just bring the plug thing to which ever strip I needed to use but thatโs not the case.
Theyโre awesome great for SAB too. I was pretty shocked they ran hot enough to warp the plastic wheel they came in though.
Thereโs gotta be some way to power small strips with a battery, just need more research.
