Couple ID’s - North Georgia

Habitat: River bottom habitat, close to a river and creeks, Fulton county.
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.

Gills:see pics
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.

Stem:
1st 3 pics - yellow tough stem.
Last pic - fragile brownish stem (thin)
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.

Cap:
1st 3 pics - conical, glabrous, 1-2” across
Last pic- smooth, almost microscopic fuzz. Conic with umbo.
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

Spore print color:
Did not harvest

Bruising:
None

Galerina seems right to me. Never positively ID’ed in the past. Thanks for the help.

As for the other one, there have been lots of them the last few weeks. They grow solitary, but in the same general areas. At least 2 ft between each. They are beautiful and slightly fragile.

I agree with Anglerfish on the last one. Please post clear up close pictures of the cap, gills and stem as they are all important parts of the identification process.

Entoloma vernum maybe? That’s the closest I think I can get. That umbo is throwing me off and, just seeing the one, who knows if it’s typical. Color, shape, general appearance from that angle, and the basal mycelium seems right to the species.

Possibly E. vernum. At least something in subgenus Nolanea.

Typically a genus where it's easier to tell what it's not rather than what it actually is.
