Lion's Mane and Light

I haven't found any threads on this, so what requirements for Light and for what of Lion's Mane are there? I am assuming at the least some light for Vitamin D and faster growth, like other mushrooms? But as far as I understand light has nothing to do with coloring of Lion's mane? And so would ambient shaded daylight light be perfect?

Yes, shaded sunlight is what you want. If growing indoors 6500 kelvin is what you want.
Here are other parameters of lions mane...

And so that means if grown indoors near windows that I wouldn't need to run any electric light but just use the shaded sunlight from the windows... That certainly makes things easier.
Is there such a thing as too much light for Lion's mane? I did the LUX to WATT conversion and it seems for a small area of say 8 square feet they only need 4 WATTS light.

I use 4 of these...

I have a 10 x 4 x 7 (LWH) room at the moment. The 4 bulb fixture has gone with the room as it has grown from a small tent. So I doubt you will be able to get too much light but keep it reasonable just to save energy.

I already have lights. I am just adjusting my lighting for my Oysters and it occurred to me that my LM didn't need to sit under the light as Oysters do for coloring. So a light bulb went on above my head that I would just use ambient room light from my windows for the LM instead of putting lighting over it. And only put the lights over the oysters. I just wanted to double check I wasn't missing something.

I've never found LM to really give all that much of a crap about light.
