Heyho Basically sickness from shrooms comes from chittin which is a protien in the skin locking nutrients in all mushrooms have it which is why they say dont eat em raw. As when cooked chittin converts and releases all available nutrition. Chittin causes gastrinal distress and an immune response inflamation as it csnt digest that molecule so there for you are sick
Now I found chittin dissipate at 100c after ten mins and I found that psyilicybin doesnt break down to its active hallucinogenic state psilocin until 210c
The active psilocin at 170. Therefore I am safe to cook the shrooms at 100c for ten mins without any potency loss...
Everyone says you loose potency if ya cook. But looking at teas which boil at 100 for ten mins... I dont think that's correct .
Someone tell me I'm right? I have a medical user who needs to take them but cant keep em down for 20mins before barfing. They help her headaches if they stay down she can have a life

Yeah if you cook below the degradation temps it probably will be alright. However heating elements inside stoves don't neccesarily heat to the exact temperature you choose. A lot of the times what happens is they turn on at full blast until the ambient temperature in the stove reaches the desired level. So the direct heat from the heating element may degrade them even before your stove reaches 100c. I don't know anything about chittin breaking down when cooked but I do know you don't have to worry about it if you make a tea. I would recommend making a tea.

Just curious does she have cluster headaches? I know they're supposed to work great for those but I've wondered if they might help with other types of headaches to.

Just make tea from them - no more barfing. Plenty of how-tos.

If you already don’t like the taste, you will ruin your omelette.
It’s been said before..... and again I say, TEA.
Even with cooking you eat the shroom material.
With tea you filter the scraps out. Tea you can reduce the volume, so to drink less. Tea you can mix with anything to mask taste. Tea kicks in faster. Tea doesn’t require eggs, cheese or bacon to become edible, maybe just a bunch of honey. 😊😎
