Those look beautiful. What grow route/methods did you use to get there?
Edit: was trying to reply to the photos angam posted. Is something up with replies or do I have to quote to show what I was replying to?

Have any of you tried bumping up the FAE to combat the “overlay”? Within a couple days of increasing the FAE, I’m getting pins

How about a timed increase in FAE like folks do with casings? Think that would have any effect? When did you bump up the air Noob?

2 or 3 days ago. It might have just been time to pin anyway. But I do think it had an effect

Yeah that's how i run them. I run them in a pan fruiting chamber with lower humidity. I think it's basically a full exchange every 10 minutes, but I've also been hunting the outdoor pheno

Grain mycelium mixed with coir in a ratio of 1:3. Then I cover the coir and keep it on fouling for 5 days. Then they are placed in a greenhouse without holes with water at the bottom at 25 degrees Celsius. In the morning and in the evening I open the greenhouse and ventilate it.It's just like with the cubes. A week later, the first pins.

My tubs generally look quite similar to yours angem. Also a 1:3 ratio. Brf with coir/verm.

Loads of pins
Wondering whether there is perhaps too much moisture but they seem to be enjoying it.

Oh, yes, I can also see that they are delighted with the moisture.

That's what my tubs look like, light overlay. More like puffy spots.

I’ve had a couple where it seemed like the overlay was so huge it sort of contained the mold inside a little bowl.
I’ve flipped some over too and the myc was so thick and rubbery it sealed the edges of the sub against the walls

Same here. But there is never any overlay along the liner and the sub is mostly brown inside. Would flipping it and taking the liner off make all those nice surfaces fuzz up before pinning? Or do you think if you flip it and blast it with fae and light you can get the pins to form faster than the overlay
