I have a nice stack of plates that look really clean and healthy, quite like what I look for on all my plates. I know I tossed one plate onto wheat already but I would have to fish it out later to see how far it is, probably due for shake #1.
I'm gonna stock up on casing/sub materials so I can run them differently, side by side, and adjust from there. Always gotta treat at least one tub like my cubes, and perhaps a second so but with a gasket to force some consolidation before getting proper FAE.
Edit: Shook the 2 Nat jars and I expect them to be pretty sexy in a few days.

Considering the yields ive gotten from just a cv toplayer, i havent really experimented further. I still cant believe the BE these things are capable of

All this talk of sand made me case my pans with sand
Its very potent vs other fast growing species/races and can put out some mindblowing yields (like over 12oz off one tub of straight CV)

I’ve been using pint jars to run clone tests but I ran out of tubs so I had to improvise with my liners

I’m banking on the multilayered plastic keeping the myc from getting through and mixing with each other.
I’ve had these two clones for months but never got around to running them so hopefully they’re good. The donors were pretty cool fruits.

Hey guys. I've been super busy and will be as busy in the near future. Anyway... I wanted to share my experiences with this one. Sorry but I have no pics to show. So. My last run was MS, 1 part grain spawn to 6 parts bulk - 3 parts manure and 3 parts straw (pasteurized) with a top layer of 1cm coir. For a total of about 4L in a tray with the sub height of 4cm. And it worked out great. No overlay and the fruits came out easily and very clean without damaging the sub. It wasn't a full canopy but looked better than most pics I see here. Got 5 flushes and 70g dry. Very potent, I took 0.5g caps and it put me on my ass the whole day 😁. Gave 2g to a friend and he said he was useless for 2 days. Now I'm running a clone from that grow with different ratio and sub recipe. 2 parts grain spawn to 6 parts bulk - 3 parts manure, 2parts verm, 1 part perlite. With 1cm top layer of the same sub material. Same tray this time around 5L and 5cm deep. This time I got that crazy overlay and after full colonization of the surface I added another 3-4 mm of poting soil, straight from the bag. Not pateurizer or anything. Got a few weeds growing from it too😁. Now it's about 80% colonized and it looks good. No more overlay. I hope to see pins in a few days. And also hope it grows over the poting soil otherwise it's gonna be a bich to rehydrate. Another thing I wanted to mention is about my first trials when I did small grows without grains. The fruits from straw / manure 80/20 looked great and dropped a lot of spores but they lack potency. They were slightly weaker than regular cubes.
