I'm with y'all. I read it Myc responded and I just couldn't. If he wants a print, I'll shoot him one even with the low post count and short history here I'll give anybody a shot with 'em. I got that ESS on its way to you Dal, I made a set of swabs just for you brother . I'll add them to the giveaway sometime this weekend. A secret head's up to my people in this thread.

Ess has been resisting hardcore but I finally got some myc off a super dirty plate the other day.
That abort tub was tragic crack. So much potential.

So these have been in fruiting almost a week. First time trying to grow NSS. Need some advice. These guys are little and veils are breaking. I planning taking spore prints, do I pick now or wait for them to open up a little more? Happy with this first flush from this shoebox, will be spawning some more grain to bulk soon and will get a giant BRF cake going soon too 💪🏻

Thank you AKA, it was man. It was looking so good and then the abort plague hit oh well. If you need anymore ESS let me know.
I would give them more time unkel and let them open.

That’s a great natal grow. Definitely give them more time, these like to open early and then keep growing a lot of times.

No offense taken at all. Sorry about the confusion.
What I meant was if someone wanted to retain multispore on agar to inoculate grains with. Either way some diversity will be lost through cleaning. But either way, eventually we’ll want to know which is more productive between tomentose and rhizo so y’all are way ahead of me haha.
I thought it was you I saw attempting a tray or shallow tub in open air but I could be wrong. And thinking about my first post a bit more I’m beginning to think FAE is more important than all of what I said haha. Been recovering from an illness so my mind hasn’t been 100% there last couple days.

I've tried open air, but not outdoors. I think zif and someone else have ran a few outdoors and got fruits that look similar to the trays that I've been harvesting recently, rather than the spaghetti-style from crack and c10's tubs.
idk what aka is growing though and I'm not sure he does either

Some diversity will be but not enough to matter. I've got a clone I'm working with that I'm behind on transferring to grain and SSLC but anyway. I've noticed tom runs better in a tub, IMO. I think Zifo is the only one with an outdoor grow and they are awesome. I do think FAE is something that needs to looked at with these. If you want a print southerner send me a PM, I'm from the south, I'll help a neighbor.

Looking like it’s about to boom in here again! Hoping that with more consistent summer weather coming up it will be easier to narrow things down. At least down here winter time is very streaky with nice weather mixed with cold fronts which makes for lots of indoor fluctuations as well.
Good looking first harvest unkel. Were there ever results from side by side comparisons of NSS vs natalensis to determine if they were the same species under different names?
