That’s a great idea! I am not going to g2g these then, because really I have no need to spawn them bulk. I just want to see if the cross took and get some clone tissue

I think this is Zifozonke's position also.
I am currently running a T5 clone of Ps. Natalenses from a print that Zifo sent me, AND a MS Ps. Cubensis Natal Super Strain that I got from the vendor in South Africa.
They look very very similar on agar and on grain. I'm going to spawn them side by side in the same substrate and see what comes of it.
It may not be very definitive as a phenotype comparison however. The thing that is obvious from my experience with the Natalensis and from what I see in here is that Natalensis has a great deal of variability in how the phenotype expresses - I have even seen this with my T5 clone culture.
Just eye balling a pheno type test (fruiting on 4 oz jars of grain) I saw that the Ps. Cubensis Natal Super Strain seemed to have almost white cap, whereas the Ps. Natalensis had more light brown caps.
That said I've had whole tubs of the T5 Ps. Natalenseis come out light grey to almost blue white. I also think many of you will recall that when I fruited that same culture on a manure, straw, and coir substrate they turned out a beautiful golden brown.

These are both coir substrates, no manure. The one with the more mature fruits is the 1:2 ratio and the other is 1:3
I quoted this last night because i was tired and didn't want to type. I'm not sure why I'm getting these golden fruits. In fact the only spindly spaghetti gross blue and white ones i got were side or bottom pins. I spawned to coir with my LAGM at different ratios to see what would happen and I got the fruits i like, so idk

3rd flush harvested exactly 1 month from spawning

Thanks guys
@aka its one of the best ive seen too!! Definitely didnt expect those kinds of numbers with this species
Only thing i can think of offhand that did better is an albino A+ that i pulled 3495g wet off a single flush. Every single one was huge, biggest was 295g! That was on manure, coir, and straw though, this was only CV

Lol right. I like the little one on the left that’s almost a perfect ball.
Weird thing is this was the first “flush”

There’s a bunch on one of the short sides too.
I’m pretty sure I’ve just been working with horrible genetics. I’ve run a ton of tubs but they all originated from the same germ plate and transfers. The myc I’ve got on grain now looks much different so hopefully I’ll finally get a decent grow.

Myc hunt hooked me up with a print but I’m not sure what pheno it is. It’s the one I have on grain atm. I may be interested. Although I’m not entirely sure how the pheno could be stabilized all like that
