Well done Myc! :mushroom2:

What was your sub ratio and composition on this one?

This one started as 2 cups spawn and 2 cups manure/straw but when it began to overlay i broke it up into 2 cups of coir. I wasn't expecting it to work but hey, I'll take it

Nice man.

I’m so jealous sitting here watching mine do nothing. Although I did realize I had it sitting with the gourmets this whole time and checked the temps and it was...57.

So now it’s back with the actives and hopefully ready to go. Definitely not bad overlay and tons of knots.

Can’t wait to run some ms again and hopefully get better genetics cuz they can’t be any worse.

I just made my first xfers from germ plates. The nat myc was super fluffy, and the playa was real flat and fuzzy but there was definitely both types on the same plate. I also had some rhizos  on the nat plate. I tried transferring the fluffy stuff but my scalpel couldn’t even cut through it lol. Oh well, I also was able to xfer the nat rhizos so we’ll see

Btw, the nat myc smelled like almond milk the way I hear pan myc smells. The playa smelled like cube myc but not strong

✅ ✅ ❌

Kept this one at colder temps in open air to see if that would change anything. Nothing was happening so i put it back in to normal fruiting conditions and this happened. The top had coir added to it once it overlayed (one of the others i let go with Nno change, the first one. The second i broke up into coir. This one i just put coir on top) but it didn't eat through it again like it normally does. I do know that this was a weaker smelling culture too, and it didn't look great and isn't looking well now. So maybe lne of you brilliant fucks can make something of that.

Now that looks more like a natalensis tub

That second one you broke the whole sub up into more coir? Or am I misunderstanding something.

Nah it's as fagtarded as it sounds. The manure/straw substrate was overlaying so i took the whole cake and "spawned" it into coir

I dont think its retarded. My plan with these was to run them following Asuras pan approach.
Sterilize the substrate bag (using the pan sub), noc with LC and then crumble and fruit

I have just hit a fail wall lately, 100% from trying to rush things and cut corners. Last Nat attempt got as far as A2G and I just tossed the jar the other day along with 16 others that fell victims to sloppy SAB work  :wow:

I have half the plate left tho, gonna be making an xfer tonight and trying again in a week or so

So I guess it is time to update the Nats plate. I really love how these look after a transfer. The parent plate looks like a crazy Tomatose mess.

I’m on T1 of myc hunts nats. They are super fluffy aerial but also have some spots underneath that are real rhizo. What should I transfer?

 I've been going for the more fluffy growth that looks like pan cyan mycelium with its fluffy and criss cross lattice patterns. Idk. There's like rhizo then feathery fluffy mycelium and then the stuff I've been going for
