I have found nats to be somewhat more physically comfortable than cubes.
The Mrs has found the opposite to be true, a moderate dose of nats was pretty uncomfortable for her.
I kept on wondering what everyone was talking about when they said Nats had no body load I never have any bad side effects from cubes And then I tried Nats And then I realized what body load meant Theyβre so comfortable for me (maybe I do get body load from cubes but never realized it) Like- really comfortable I so much love my Nats for that reason
I think body load typically means a negative body feeling. Maybe you mean you get a body high from nats? In which case, awesome, I really hope I get that too.

Any effect from eating the overlay?

Effect? Like on me? Yes it affected me, in a very positive way. And I learned some respect. Although, I'm really nervous about what to do, when it fruits. If I don't do anything, and seal the tub, will it fruit, drop spores, die, then recolonize? What happens if I let it sit there and not pick anything??
You pick the fruits when they mature but ideally before spores drop. If you leave them too long, they will still be fine to pick but spores drop and they don't look as nice or taste as good in my opinion. If you just keep leaving them for some reason eventually they die off and the mycelium tries to reclaim them.
Don't be nervous. Mushrooms largely grow themselves. We just set the stage.

Aspect have you tried/thought of doing PF tek with them? You have genetics from good cultures, but obviously not every spore on a print is going to put out a healthy culture. My thought is doing PF multispore might allow a lot more strains to be tried all at once, and you won't risk missing a good fruiter due to isolation on agar.
Not totally sure if that's sound logic, the people with more experience will chime in

Thanks for the recommendation. Havent done pftek jars in quite awhile. Not sure if theres much of a difference. Theyll both end up as multispore cultures. On advice, i have a grain jar just sitting waiting to see what it does. Its acting much like a pftek jar. Maybe wrong with some of this though so anyone feel free to correct me.

Oh yeah that tub has good vibes
I started cult a year ago with a natalensis print, and it is embarrassing how many failed attempts I had. I eventually gave up and got a cube print from a friend. It worked first time and definitely made me feel like I wasn't crazy and doomed to never get fruits.
I decided to get back into natalensis and ordered an isolated spore syringe, upon arrival I realized that's just LC. I inoculated two extra grain jars I already had prepped a while back and also put some to agar in case it needs cleaning up.

Fourth flush on three tubs. Each flush is producing progressively larger fruits but fewer of them.
All of the jars used were from transfers from the same germ plate, but the difference in appearance is dramatic! Earlier flushes were pretty much the same across all tubs and conditions have been consistent, so I've no idea why - any ideas?
I'm thinking I should let them keep running until either I get contamination or the fruits are too sparse to justify tying up a tub.

Edit to add better photo of the 'odd' looking one.
