To completely disagree is your prerogative. and of course the major regenerative effects are mainly found in larger doses. Do you feel like it’s the psilocybin that’s helping her with her MS? Or could it be the entourage effect?
I would think that Placebos would be inert by definition. So simply stating that smaller micro’s are placebos disregards the actual science and that, in fact, by definition, are not placebos because they are not inert. They have actives in them, silly 🙃
If your wife has MS and gets benefits from the larger .4ish and above, then more power and healing to her. I 100% support that.
But … that’s still not a microdose by any standard.
Cheers to mushrooms 🍄
As always. Feel free to reach out if you ever need anything.
Sure, I’ll do my best to dig up those studies and send them to you. To clarify my placebo comment, the study showed improvement in the microdosing group. However, there was equal improvement in the placebo group, indicating that the improvement was not due to the actives.
I have no idea what specific alkaloid is helping her, but she’s been able to discontinue three prescription meds since starting, while still improving. She was able stop adderall for energy, buspirone for anxiety, and cymbalta for depression.
She consulted her neurologist about her shroom use. The dr said her labs, neuro/cognitive tests and MRI were all great, even showing healing of brain lesions so keep doing what she’s doing. However, the dr said the greatest benefits, namely the healing lesions, were likely the result of her ridiculously expensive monthly injections, not the mushies.

Got a few Natalensis that were ready to harvest. The crinkle one is the heaviest Natalensis I've grown so far. Unfortunately they are all relatively hollow, but there is some fluffy stuff in there just not solid.

This tub of nats is moving slower than usual. I spawned the nats and a tub of golden teachers the same time and the nats are just now getting a decent pin set and the teachers got harvested today.

That tub looks like it's pretty close to the wall,do you get enough fae? The natalensis like as much fresh air as possible I've learned. Your mycelium looks good so I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Personally, I’ve experienced benefits with repeated low doses. Heres a recent study on that topic.

But this study involves macrodosing by the definition of many here. The problem is many people here think if you feel something, then it’s macrodosing. However, micro dosing is simply a dose small enough to not impair cognitive functioning and limit unwanted side effects.
Generally, if you take a microdose so small you feel absolutely nothing, you’re probably not doing anything good or bad for yourself. At least that’s what the current studies demonstrate.

Same here, I cant wait to micro/low dose daily with nats once they come in. I've also noticed several benefits with repeated low doses of cubensis so far these past few months. its helping me juggle full time work and college.

Every actual Peer reviewed study on microdosing that I have read found microdosing to be at best placebo.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work, just that it likely works only because you think it does.

that's like your opinion man... were each entitled to our own perspective, all I can say is that it help me, and Im not alone. but it does seem that many others are quick to be naysayers on the issue.
I would recommend anyone trying it out for themselves, figure out your own micro/low dose amount, and give it time.

I guess it depends on the definition that each person has on “sub perceptual”
My wife got off of antidepressants entirely as well as her narcolepsy meds using about .2-.3 of the Leucistic PE Revert strain, with daily use.
