Over saturate the sub with water for the 3rd flush. You'll get big mush 3rd flush.

Depends if your substrate is shrinking but in general I don't do more than 500ml and mist heavily when the water has settled into the sub.

Allright I gotcha. I've really only dunked my cakes before. But I'll try this method out.

Oh yes, I've perfected my recipe now.
Shrimps also helped me a lot with sugar tempering which is vital information.

Anyone have any experience harvesting overlay? I'm hesitant if I should be patient and wait for my first flush, or peel off the overlay now.

I have a pin! This took longer then my last run of Natalensis. Usually it was 13 days from spawn. This was around 3 weeks with slightly more overlay but it's still a low amount of it.

Awesome! This gives me peace of mind. I'm assuming you didn't remove any overlay at any point right? Just let the pins come through on their own.

Just be patient. You don't even have that much overlay.

that overlay isn't thick enough to pull, it'll probably come up with a bunch of sub. give it a bit more time
how long do nat spores usually take to germinate? I have plates at 5 and 11 days with nothing yet, wondering if I should do a few more tries

I didn't remove any overlay. This is the most overlay I've had and it's honestly not much. I'm going to take a few prints from this tub and share them, if everything continues to go well. I've shared in the past and they were low overlay for the people who got them as well, so I'm thinking it's genetic. I went back to spore for this grow. Maybe slightly different genetics but still not bad overlay. I was looking for more potency.

I'd try another plate. Mine germed in about four days. I've heard of them taking longer though, so I wouldn't throw the old ones out.

Nice. I'll probably follow your path and take some prints from my least overlaid block.

Harvest time?
Veils have popped on most of the fruits overnight.
Let them ride a few more hours or harvest now?

My understanding is that Nats can have substantial growth post veil break. I know others wait until they see evidence of sporulation before harvest.
Great grow. Congratulations.

13 days since spawn.
