Do nats have a lot of pscilicin like pe and pans?
Or more psilocybin like cubes?

Has anyone actually done any testing to say anything about levels of actives in cubes of different varieties for a fact?
From a consumer perspective it seems like a huge variable, just within the cubensis species.
That being said I've never had the pleasure of experiencing either of those chemicals on their own in a pure form.
Same with baeocystin and norbaeocystin.
Seems like a difficult thing to test for.

I’m finally about to take the dive down the Nat rabbit hole. Does anyone have a link to current parameters? Or can I attack it with current cube understandings. I have about a year of cube experience so far.
From what I’ve read about Nats, doing a 1:3-1:5 spawn to sub ratio is ideal with a thicker pseudocasing should do the trick.
Am I off base?

Those parameters will work just fine. Maybe give them a little extra passive FAE and you will be good.

Reviving genetics I got from Mycelium Juice. JW123 is a rockstar for always giving me credit for the low overlay genetics but they are originally from Mycelium Juice. I think the giveaway was appropriately called "the future". I can't take undo credit for the low overlay genetics and it's nice to see where the lineage comes from. It's awesome to see that they are still circulating in this thread. Can't wait to see if the cultures held up on slants or if I have to go back to spore. I hope the culture survived because I loved the wild phenos that appeared. Green eyed snakes, Robbins egg, or just giant silvery stiped perfect shrooms. Either way it's good to be back! Hopefully things go great and I can put some more low overlay spores out on the marketplace. It's hard to believe I ate almost a half pound of these things in a year. Thanks Mycelium Juice for the opportunity when these were relatively new and thanks JW123 for spreading the genetics.

Half pound of Nats in a year!? Wowzer! I guess it's safe to assume you like them better than cubes?

I never really thought about it. I guess there are times I like them better and times I don't. It depends on what I'm looking for.
I go through a lot because I take high doses of nats(8g+ dry)because they are more uplifting then cubes, which can get "dark" mentally, and I enjoy very strong trips. I've smoked DMT while tripping before because I wasn't tripping hard enough and didn't want to make more shroom tea(That's a whole other story). Cubes had me contemplating suicide a couple times which steered me away from them for a while. Nats make me feel like a child having the best day ever. There's really no other way I can describe it. No matter how depressed I am, nats just pick me up and set me on a happy path. They are also less visual then other species, at least ime, so I can take more without losing my sense of what's really going on. Other times I really want a lot of visuals, so I go with pans or cubes. Body load is also a non factor with nats even at over 10g dry. I don't feel like I can't walk or drunk like on cubes. Don't get me wrong cubes are good in their own right but nats just hit different. I haven't really done any "mental work" on nats like I do on cubes, because they don't let me. They are what I call a "safe trip" for beginners too. I've never seen anyone have a bad time on them. I trip alot too, sometimes 2 times a week. I also use them for daily micro doses which could contribute to a higher tolerance that leads to higher macro doses. I guess all that combined is why I went through so much. I still have some of them left but it was damn near 8oz consumed out of the total amount I had.

How do you deal with Vasoconstriction from the Nats, or don't they affect you that way. I get such a case of the chills about 30 minute into onset every time from it.

FWIW I switched from 1:4 with 1 qt top layer to a 1:2 ratio with no top layer, and despite using the same culture, I dont seem to be getting overlay this time.

Interesting, thanks for posting that. I should hopefully be trying some in the next few weeks. Should be fun based on all that I've read.

For some reason they don't bother me like cubes do. I never feel cold from any mushroom but I sometimes have congestion or what feel like stuffed up sinuses but nothing comes out when I blow my nose. Not sure if that's the same thing. I always take 2 different allergy pills before tripping too. Allegra and Benadryl. They seem to cut down on the itching I get from mushrooms.

Maybe. I've had reactions before that scared the shit out of me. I won't touch that culture again. I've heard that itching is normal from psilocybin but they weren't a doctor.
Nice plate! Looks almost like pins along the right edge.

Yes! It's very limited so far but a few folk are working on it.

There's a group on FB called Yoshi's Island, there's at least two guys over there with some results (tested a total of like 4 varieties so not much but it's something!).
