Sincere apologies! I definitely meant JW123.
This print has been a real pleasure to work with from germination to shoebox. I munched a small one yesterday and it was yummy. Probably around 1g fresh and gave me something between a micro- and mini-dose. Thanks again.

Well thank you JW, and thank you Bigworm! I plan to start from spores again soon. I still have a colonized jar that looks like it should be good. I still haven't taken more than a gram, but I've really enjoyed the experience.

Life has been complicated and busy since January for me, and I really pushed the level of neglect on some nats and was delightfully surprised I was by the results.
First, I had done a g2g transfer from a months old master jar sitting in the fridge. No problem, all 48 quarts fully colonized. But then things got too busy and the colonized quarts just sat on the shelves at room temperature for a couple months after full colonization occurred.
No problem. Dumped them to 48 shoeboxes at 1:2 and fully ignored them for weeks. All of them came in, but I continued to run into timing issues and every flush was caked in spores. And a little old when I harvested them. Harvested them anyway. Got 4 flushes, didnβt even rehydrate between flushes. Dried them. Powdered them. Tested them, and they came in around 1.6% on the psilo-q tests. Nats seem to be the ultimate honey badger of psychedelic mushroom cultivation, they donβt give a fuck.

I tried putting two nat grows in a sunny spot indoors (6+ hours of direct sun) after the myc poked through the top layer, and it still had overlay. I don't think sunlight prevents overlay, at least not with indoor grows.

Temps 15-17*c cold and rainy, UK. Outdoor Wheat spawned to simple chopped straw in a big pot. Tough, resilient and strong. These could easily naturalise here in the right places eg compost/dung heaps.

Thanks again JW123!

Haven't ran any nats in a while, last time I took a couple clones. Never got around to running them, and after we moved it looks like I only had one plate saved in the fridge. Pulled it last night, taking it to grain this evening

This is my first nats project. I took the risk and directly inoculated rye grains, which worked perfectly fine. Mainly whispy tomentose myc taking over with some areas of denser myc. Then I spawned to manure/dry grass stalks. Casing is manure/verm.
The differences in genetics are quite obvious. Most of the surface looks nicely rhizomorphic while some parts show overlay under the exact same conditions. So I think with nats it's best to go for multispore and then clone the best fruits instead of risking to choose the wrong strain on a dish. Fingers crossed I'll get some decent ones.

Good luck with your grow, Camera93! Keep us updated.
