They are beautiful mushrooms but It definitely looks like cubensis just because they don't have any subdecurrent gills. If you can zoom in on this picture you can see how the gills start to run down the stype.

Something extra, like an exotic long sought but never found strain of a treasure mold ?
Yeah just some awesome mold off on the edge. Probably could have sent the rest of the plate but I figured 1 more transfer won't hurt. I don't want any mushrooms in my mold farming.

This night one of the tray exploted O.o Why have some caps turned black? They are not spores, since it happening since they were small and with the first mushrooms that have come out.
I'm still confused when to harvest them. I guess now is a good time to take prints?

Interesting. Those sure look like spores to me. But some of your caps were black from the start? Do you have a photo of a younger black cap?
These are spores from not checking for two days.

But I ain't even mad since I got over an ounce dry from 1 myco qt on the first flush from ms.
24 hours in dehydrator @ 160f and over 11% weight feels pretty good.
Trying to print and surprised that they are not dumping spores on the foil after 24 hours given the appearance of the tub mess. Maybe I was too late?

Totally looks like spores. Do they rub off?

Will it pin through that thick mycelium layer? When people talk about peeling the overlay off, what do they mean by that? I tried touching it but it felt squishy and flimsy. Like if I pulled on it I wouldn't pick up anything.

i was cheking these every hour xD They start to get black since they were small . Also , it occurs in the tallest mushrooms, that they have no mushrooms above as you can see in the photo.

That is the strangest thing of all, they have not rubbed and it has happened in the first mushroom and the highest one since it began to grow, there has not been any mushroom above it.
I have seen many spores and how they stain (in cubensis),And I have to admit that it looks exactly the same, but this time I have been watching the mushrooms grow every hour, and I have observed how that black spot has started to appear little by little without any explanation O.o

I already understand it. But how is it possible that the spores have appeared on top of a mushroom cap when there was only one mushroom growing? In addition to the fact that there were no mushrooms around and it was the tallest, isn't it strange that this happens since the mushroom was just a pin? Also its happening in EVERY CAP ,they have black/blue decolartion on each cap. Could be bruising?
I understand that it is hard to believe and that they look like spores.I wanted to know if anyone had experienced something similar and it could be something genetic. Thank you anyway!

Mushrooms can create air currents that pull the spores upward, and they end up on caps

Well, not sure what to make of that…those caps & stipes certainly resemble cubes more than the usual run of nats.
At the same time, that mycelium in those pix strikes me as…odd. I love the ways mycelium grows, nats very much have their own ‘grooves’ s far as growth patterns, especially from spore on agar in the dish, and in the substrate, and that looks very different from any other myc I’ve seen, nat or not.
Time will tell, this could be another miracle phenotype in the Natal toy box. Fortunately we’re not playing ‘Name That Tune’, so no hurry
Interesting thing: hope you’ll check in with pix as the situation develops!
[failed to quote the guy…sorry ‘bout that, still awkward posting]

Thanks! This is from the spent subs I buried. I have one crate I made with fresh spawn that's colonized but hasn't thrown fruits yet, I'm excited for that one.

Nice!
Did you just bury them in the ground? Or you mix up something and put them in a pot?
