i guess the pros here harvest more from half a jar than most of us from a full jar of grains.
Definitely true in my case. My yields from Nats haven’t been great.

It was in winter and was noticeably slower but the fruit grew large and flushed 3 excellent flushes.
That’s insane. That’s like 10 times more than what I’m getting. And these were Nats?

I've posted these a few times.
That was the 1st flush. Go through the thread, I've posted these numbers last year and documented it in the thread.

Amazing stuff. I remember seeing these before but that yield is just incredible. So they like the cold eh? What kind of temps were you fruiting at?

In winter it was getting to 8C at night and around 15C during the day. I would attribute the size to the slower growth more than the temperature though.

Just for fun I chucked my old nat cake into a bag of soil that is sat conditioning in my basement. Basically soil that I added worm castings and water to. I mixed the spent cake in with the top exposed layer of soil, and draped a garbage bag over it.
A few weeks later I got some pretty chunky Nats pop up. Quite a bit bigger and heavier than my Nats in shoeboxes. I forget the weight, but you can see the difference in stature compared to my “normal” ones. Basement nat is top, tub nat is bottom.
It’s definitely colder in my basement but I attributed the better fruits to more fae/humidity.
I’m not sure how to achieve these results in my regular tubs but it must be possible right?

I normally cold soak the rye in the fridge for 3 days, rinse then fill the jars 3/4 full and pc. These ones now would be 3/4 full if the grains had bloated like they do when I do the cold soak, i reckon.
I was worried they were a bit dry after following that tek, but the nats seem to likey them.
I have a 25kg bag of rye with a best before date of ... ... last month to use so I'll fettle the tek to find my sweet spot over the next few weeks.

Adding another Zulu warrior into the ongoing Nats vs mold battle. This tub turned green and got sent to the trash pile a couple weeks ago. I found it with these fruits today.

So, I just use the “search this thread” function for the term “experience”.
The accounts near the beginning of the thread varied considerably.
Are Natalensis generally considered to be a more pleasant trip than regular cubes?…more visual? Just curious if there is a general consensus now that the post has reached an impressive 410 pages?
Side note: I just got some prints and cooked up some agar. Ready to rock! Gonna try and germinate some this week.

the average experience seems to be "more potent, more friendly, less visual, and less afterglow" but its far from unanimous
