Had a beauty of a day here, so nice I was in shorts an a t-shirt! Was tied to the smoker in the backyard all day, perfect time for some shrooms! 1.5g lime tek'd for about 45mins, about 30mins after drinking I was high af! Was basically stoned with some mild OEV for about 3-4 hours, still a bit of an afterglow 4 hours after the comedown.
Another great day!

I think those look gtg. If anything they look like you might have waited longer than you needed.

Do nats hold surface conditions better after the first flush? Two of these shoeboxes have decent beads still on the top. Usually it just gets that matted flatter look on the other few varieties I grew.

5 days after putting a chunk of a spore swab on agar, seeing some growth but 5 days seems too fast for mycelium.

Edit: ignore the swab indentations, that was from a previous swab that failed to germ

That haziness from about 8 oβclock to 2 oβclock looks exactly like what was IDβd for me as bacteria.

How long was the total trip and how did you ingest?
I just ate up the dried fruits and the trip lasted around 5 hours.
Injested 6.30pm, tripping nicely around 8, starting to come down around 11, soberish by 12 and asleep by 3am.

4 of my nat jars are nearly there...

I used Spitball's rye prep for the 1st time, I normally cold soak in the fridge for 3 days and just rinse and pc. These were a bit less "bloated" and drier than my usual jars, but the nats took off after a few days and have been unstoppable.
They'll go to 5L ziplock bags with a few holes poked in them, but what coir ratio are folks using???
I was thinking of using a jar and a half of coir to each of these just over half jars.
Cheers folks!

Reusing plates that fail to germ is going to increase the likelihood of contamination.

Ah... I used to use that tek but just filled them normally. I'd suggest doing that next time, or your yields are gonna be half of what they should be.

only if you maximize BE, which is rarely the case until you hit the sweet spot (skill/genetics/climate etc
i guess the pros here harvest more from half a jar than most of us from a full jar of grains.

My best harvest from a single quart of grain was 3.7kg wet.
It was in winter and was noticeably slower but the fruit grew large and flushed 3 excellent flushes.

Put agar on 7 jars today
I really should measure my ratios better. I'm so used to cooking, where I never measure ingredients. I generally put about one quart into a 27qt. tub, and mix with sub until the level is near my bottom holes. If you guys are using 2qt. for a 56qt tub, I think that's roughly the same, right?

Indeed. But I had a bunch of failed germ plates that I was gonna throw out anyway. Worst case scenario, they contam and I throw them out as intended.
