Had some caps grow without stems. Anyone have this before?

That last one isn't a side pin. It's just a cap.

Wow I think that is the least overlay (absolutely none) I've seen with these.

Anyone grow these in bags much?
I've got a 2 pound block of BRF that outpaced my quart jars and nowhere to put it. Im considering just doing a bag grow with it.
For those of you doing bags, I reckon it would be the same spawn:sub ratio you would use for shoe boxes? What about maintenance like fanning?
I do bags but this seems like a slightly different beast.

DERRAYLD said: High fae Nats

Hey Derrayld,
Had great success switching to PastyWhytes EZ dial monos for cubes. In your opinion, would the original EZ mono design accommodate ideal nat FAE or given the general recommendation for more FAE, should more holes be incorporated?
Have only run nats in unmodified, unlined tubs/shoeboxes and had nothing but issues.

This is gonna depend heavily on the conditions and airflow in your area/grow space. As a general rule you want as much fae as possible while still maintaining conditions. I run multiple cubes/species all in setups similar to pasty’s tubs with great results.

I run them in pasty tubs and also in monotubs with large poly stuffed holes. Just give them fae, the more the merrier.

You got any pics of the surface? How's the pin set? Moisture of the sub?

I just tried, but the pics don't show it very well. It's covered with a zillion little drops of water. Pin set is sparse. About 5-6 total per mini tub. The larger tubs are a few days out from pinning. The sub was "field conditions". A hard squeeze would let out a few drops.

Here's a pic from a few days ago that shows the surface better
That was all that came up for that "flush"
