Have any of you considered foregoing a casing layer and instead putting down simple bubble wrap with an inch or so of open space between the sides? This should simulate the same environment which is causing side pins and bottom pins, and stimulate it on top of the cake.

So, without having to search through all the discussion regarding this unique and interesting strain/strains, what is the consensus? Preferred sub? Preferred fruit temp/temps? Spawn to bulk ratio, etc? Has the overlay issue been tackled?

What would this achieve?
Just grow them like cubes and give more fae, nothing else needed.

Your ex girlfriend's brother should come here to learn how to not use bubble wrap.

It would help achieve a completely full canopy.

Those are monsters, what sub did you use? How deep was your sub? If I had to guess I'd say 8 inches deep?
That's not natalensis is it? Very impressive

Those are nats, I post my grows in here often to show folks what you can achieve.

That was coir but I get them bigger on hpoo.
4" sub sometimes I go to 5 or to 3 but never 8".

You achieve full flushes with quality environments and maintaining good surface conditions along with decent genetics.

Bubble wrap is reddit information along with cheesecloth, orbeez, etc.
Come here to see what quality growing is.

Just trying to be helpful,  I hope my statements aren't taken the wrong way but I frown upon all the reddit half assed teks trying to improve upon their failures by reinventing the wheel instead of just understanding how the wheel works.

It would be interesting to know if it would prevent your overlay problems.

If you had taken the time to go through more of this thread you would know that no one gives a fuck about the overlay, it is active too. Also there are alot of canopies and monsters. It seems the overlay is more genetic and nats just going to do whatever the fuck they do.

Also just read through the thread. I did and it's great. It has everything you want, heartbreak, drama, success, suspense. I cannot recommend it enough.

That is super thin, why are you growing the master out though?
I transfer from my master to new agar if I use it from the fridge.

Crazy clone fruit on agar from a mutant, long snakes.
