I will be ending my Natalensis grow with my 5th flush, and have way more mushrooms than I could eat in a year. I have about 12oz dried off 3 27qt tubs and used roughly 7 myco quarts of spawn split between the tubs in different ratios. I know it's not the best but I'm happy with my results. These are the biggest from the last flush. They seemed to get more cube like during the later flushes, and more dense as well. I'm taking a much needed break from growing, and growing these gave me the reserves needed to be able to close my lab for a few months. The right one was 29.96g wet, so close to 30g but yet so far away. I wish everyone luck and can't wait to see what the future holds for this species.

Hello everyone! I'm new here and I just finished my first run of Natalensis, second grow ever. First was a grow bag in a room with a humidifier fogging the whole space haha. I spent the last 6 months researching the heck out of the right way grow mushrooms and I've learned so much. I settled on running trays in a lockable rubbermaid cabinet setup with perlite on the floor and a fresh air intake fan that kicks on at high humidity it works great and looks very natural in my bedroom. We plan to use it as a TV stand. Today I learned a lesson in dermal absorption. My cakes were spent so decided to take them out to a start a planter in a plastic tub outside. After I dumped them in added some water to rehydrate I started mixing it all up, leveled it off and covered it with a tarp. Later on in the day I kept think my microdose I've been taking felt a little extra. I knew something wasn't right when I couldn't stop staring into the pot of mac and cheese I'd been stirring far too long. When I realized why this was happening I laid down in bed and stopped resisting. That's when the flood gates opened and I truly felt all the power behind that active Mycellium. I love Nats so much already I don't feel the need to grow anything else. They are perfect for newbies like me and they even reward you just for handling them but be careful I was very lucky it was my day off and I didn't have any obligations.

Wow those big ones look like straight cubensis.
Curious about the potency on then.

If it wasn't for the vigorous overlay I definitely would have guessed they were cubes.

they got muscular and deformed pushing through the cellophane. But yes, this phenotype gets more chunky/cubeish in later flushes

@gleyck So is this from the shoebox that gone months without pinning?
It’s been almost a month for my shoeboxes too, Initially first five days had aggressive colonisation and there was no signs of overlay happening. I thought I won the genetic lottery , then it started blobbing with amber droplets and then after 20 odd days, small ropes of mycelium started to cover them and starting to climb the walls, not so fast though. I think I will end up with a shoebox more or less like yours. Although I can’t be certain lol, this Natalensis defies all expectations and totally does unpredictable things
