My nat shoebox is looking good. Glistening small drops on the surface, good colonization. Hopefully just wait and get mushrooms.

That looks so uniform and clean, like it should be in a book or something. Nice.

Nice! Just went for this today: 6500k wifi lamp in the hope of getting decent future pin sets. Instead of buying lamp + timmer, this wifi thingy does the 12/12h trick and even connects with Alexa.
• E27 socket • Power: 9W • Lifetime: 25000h • Light flow (max): 810 lm • WiFi 2.4GHz 802.11b / g / n • Ambient ambient temperature : -20 ° C to 60 ° C • Voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa • RGB 16 million colors, warm white to cold white 2700K-6500K

A question for those with more experience than me: How would you compare the strength of natalensis with regular Cubes?

In my limited experience I'd say they are comparable to the higher end strength of cubes, but also have some differences in overall feel. As with all active mushrooms potency varies with genetics though I'm sure.

Quite different to cubes, very little body high, not as much mind "muzzyness", very strong reality compatible visuals.
By reality compatible visuals I mean I get layers on top of reality as if I were wearing a AR headset that gave mushroom visuals. I suspect this is down to the less "muzzyness" factor because my perception of what is around me isn't as affected as it is with cubes.
Other people reported similar.
I hope that makes sense.

So open the tub and take photos, it isn't a risk.

when colonization is about to finish you can open to tale pics, etc. i personally dont open more than necessary though.
