At least I can eat some overlay finally and see for myself.

sorry friend, but in my book this doesnt look like pinning soon if at all..
5 shrooms says it still fruits
Heres my nats in a bag pinning right off the cloud, don't give up!

Right, but, in my experience, heavily covered with metabolites myc gives few fruits. One of my latest tubs did just that, I've collected a lot of blobs, squeezed'em slightly to clean from excess liquids and dried'em. There was one pin, and the second flush consists of the blobs again, haha. I guess the spawn was bacterial, but at least it didn't catch trich. Yet.

17 days after bulk, my sexy first pins ever and blob
What to do or change in this stage? (besides controlling myself and not opening the lid to take pics) Does surface conditions seem decent? Misting a bit? Stay put?

How big are Nat fruits usually?
I just got my first flush from multispore grow in a large shoebox. The fruits are about 1.5-2" tall with a 3/8" cap and spagetti looking (not enough FAE?)
They were droppping spores so I harvested about half of the largest ones and bottom watered the substrate. It was a pain with so many tiny mushrooms. Is this normal for a first flush of a multispore grow or do I need to adjust conditons?
Production actually seems pretty good. Massive pinset and thick canopy just tiny fruits. Due to the staggered harvest I won't know about weight until I finish harvesting them, but 1/3-1/2 the bin got two completely full dehydrator trays.

I do have another bin that was spawned at the same time that is looking like it will produce larger fruits. It looks like it's about 4-6 days behind. The only difference was that the faster bin with the tiny mushrooms had a top layer of substrate at spawn. Both multispore, so I don't know if there's any relevance.

Thanks, no crossing just clone and print. Seems to be taking pretty quickly so far though.

I have 3 tubs going with different spawn gains, sub ratio rates, sub recipes, and casing/no casing. I have 3 different results of fruits so far, well the 3rd is still growing so I'm not sure what it'll finish up looking like yet. Tub 1- 16 days to pin low overlay, poo sub 3", 1" pseudocasing(I think p9 Tek?) Top layer, high FAE, oat spawn 2:1 sub:spawn ratio. No liner no side pins. Gave me these for first flush. Second flush is starting.

Tub 2- 16 day to pin, low overlay, c/v/g 50/50 plus a handful of gypsum 2"sub, no top layer, low FAE, Milo spawn 3:1 ratio sub:spawn. No liner no side pins. Gave normalish cube looking with smaller caps, fewer fruits but heavier. 2nd flush coming in more dense canopy but still not a thick canopy, 2nd flush pins only 3 days after first harvest.

Tub 3 looking like tub 2 but with a shit load of side pins. I didn't pack the sub down as I wanted to see if a loose substrate would be beneficial. I think I should have used a liner but wanted a control for my testing. I will run a loose sub again but with a liner to see if it changes anything. Low overlay, 16 days to pin but only on the sides, 19 to pin on surface. Same spawn and ratio as tub 2 but with a 1.5" top layer pseudocasing. No pics yet.
