I got 797g wet off this tub for the first flush. Hopefully it sticks to my 7% weight ratio which would give me around 50g dry. Not bad for a 27qt mono with 1.5qt spawn. Sorry the pic is from a day or 2 ago because I forgot to get a before harvest pic.

Probably should have shook the jar sooner..

Shitz really dense... part of it broke up, but I've still got a solid golf ball sized chunk that won't break up

Pretty sure that's because of bacteria dude, healthy myc shouldn't look like that nor be that hard to break up whether you've forgotten to shake or not :p

Makes sense.. I just switched my grain prep after that batch because everything was coming out bacterial no matter how the plates looked.. wasn't sure if this jar was just weird because of nat mycelium acting differently.

🤞 hopefully switching from "no prep" to soak/simmer and switching my PC time from 90 min to 120 will resolve the issue.

We'll know soon enough I hope, letting this plate grow out a bit more and then I may send  a wedge to grain.
