Nats be screwing with me...
Here's a culture selected from a bit of aerial myc that ran fast and has produced a literal carpet of primordia under the myc carpet. So then what do I get for the first flush?

Compare the straight coir (about 1:4) tub on the left with the 7th freakin' flush off the parent strain on the right on cased grain (both 1 myco-quart).
Yeah really thanks a lot guys! Hopefully it'll pump out something more decent down the road. More different strains on the way.
Anyway it's kinda pretty and really easy to harvest:

What it looked like pinning a few days ago:

If you zoom in you can see all the primordia just...waiting. At least it didn't blob like the last ones did.
In other news I did manage to consume 4g (equivalent as tea from fresh) 2 days ago. OMG, what an amazing trip these puppies deliver! Body load is noticeable but not excessive. I think I'm cleared for 5g next time, which should be in the absolute sweet spot.

Is there a round about time frame from spawn to harvest with these? I know conditions change times but am I looking at a less than a month, a month, or longer?

those are lookin beautiful, love the purple and gold….
my mini tubs also do excess flushes, not really any time inbetween either, pick a few, next ones already start to pin the next day
cant avoid the snakes but this second flush looking pretty nice, the first flush I ripped the fruits out by the handfull kinda destroyed the sub but nats dont care!

For me, MS bags took 21-24 says to pin and fruits grew in less than a week, so right around a month IME.

Even with the slow down from the cold my last coir tubs all fruited in a month from spawning to bulk.

This is my other nat culture, that basically looks just like the other one I ran so far. I spawned this tub on 7/29, and here it is tonight...

Here's the perfect example of it, same jars of millet used and spawned at the same time.

thank you for the insights you share. will give hp/straw a go soon and see for myself. your nats are the biggest i have seen so far. how about potency? do they bruise a lot? i have a similar culture that bruises much less than the one that grows "kind of weird" looking fruit.

They're potent, no difference between the large and small fruit from a g for g perspective. The smaller fruit went more green but the large fruit bruise as much.
The large bulbous base goes blue first and then the stem gets loads of blue wrinkles.
The hpoo tub is growing quite different to the cv tub with the same spawn. Color of fruit, size, clusters, etc. Looks like a different mushroom.

Mutant bruising , this will be cloned.

Those albinos are badass.
Derrayled those are some of the biggest nats I think we’ve seen
I noticed a difference when I tried using manure too, the caps were much more colored than normal.

indeed, what a difference!
what makes me wonder is how even the same tub shows different kind of fruit from one flush to the next. how can this even be?, well, talking MS in this case, not cloned culture.
seems like different conditions (humidity levels, temp, nute concentration etc) encourage different "phenos" to get going and fruit.

Next up will be TAT, MVP, Pearly Gates, Puerto Rican, APEU, Playa Uvita and LAPE.

I don't usually post pics here but eh

Average fruit size for my sneks
Also have some dense phenos with couple inch thick stems and caps bigger than my palm
(Those go super super blue)
Sorry not a dick measuring contest just want y'all to appreciate how big nats can really get. I'll get some pics of the huge cap pheno when I run her next.
