Looks like a decent clone though especially if you have clean jars.
I “harvested” a shoebox today.

At least they’re consistent. Crazy long and shredded.

I like the sheen on the stipes it almost looks and feels like latex. Never seen it on a cube.

8 days.
What do you all think about this? I'm guessing it is mycelium as well, just never seen it like this. It is growing at the same pace as the more solid myc. I've had different jars catch cobweb and it overruns the jars in less than a day, but not this.

So big thanks to all the fine and generous Shroomerites.
First thing to note is that I love the shape and color of the spores. Secondly, the way the spores sort of "melt" the agar and surround themselves with a leading edge of water or resivoir so to speak, is something I always like to see.
This is the Natal ("Natalensis Super Strength"):
... Lots of pretty colors and pointy ends.
For comparison these are standard P. Cubensis spores. From left to right we have Golden Halo, Texas Orange Cap, White Tailfeathers, LPEU, and Rusty White:

This is Azurescen:

As soon as I get a fresh pile of prints I'll do some oil immersion photos to get a better look at them.

Not a canopy (can't figure out the curling thing..) but a solid flush from 1qt MS. All have full stops and I'm gonna harvest tomorrow. Put out a bunch of meaty clusters so gonna replicate this tub but with a clone, good spawn, and more spawn. Took a bunch of the caps after this pic for prints

It seems like you either get a decent pinset and straight shrooms or it makes a few curly ones.
All of mine so far have grown flat against the surface in coils.

I'm thinking it might have something to do with air. I'm using un.odified tubs with the lid on normal but not latched. It might be getting too little air, maybe they need a ton of fae
I for the life of me can't remember what I did so different from all my other ones on my first tub because it was perfect.

One of the shoeboxes, so far, has started a second flush despite the mold in the corner. These fruits are much meatier than the first flush

Man those are not standard cube gills.
The wait on these genetics is killing me. I’m about to start collecting specimens to send in so they hit the number to get them looked at lol.

The gill attachment is totally not cubelike at all. Its like they connect lower on the stip than how cubes.

So here it is the next day.

Again, this may just be expression of traits but it seems atypical of cube sprouting pattern. I've seen a few cubes that are similar. This stuff looks similar to azurescen but also similar to mexicana types.
Did DNA testing ever happen?

I think they’re waiting until they have more specimens to get a discount.
I know a lot of people think it’s a normal cube but I’m convinced it’s not. The only thing cube about it so far is it sorta has the same colors and is capable of growing in the same stuff.
But the myc, gills, potency etc are all off.
