On the third flush, I caught a trichoderm.I put it in the basement without light and air.
The difference in lighting and air exchange is obvious.

Are those knots on the stems of the third flush??
I thought it was just flaky like you see sometimes with cubes but I can’t tell.

I havn't posted in years but wanted to confirm what DoctorBenway has stated both on the strange sclerotia looking growth and the effects.
8 brf jars recieved ms from 2 p. Natalensis syringes on May 13. All jars grew the wierd layer. They were spawned about 40 days and smelled healthy but with a delicous spicyness to it kinda. Most of that thick layer clung to the jars after cakes were spawned and some were still attached but easy to peel off. I noticed it bruised blue so i scraped it out with a butter knife.

I broke it up by hand and dried it on my dash and it came out to exactly 3.6g

I ate it on the 4th of July. And it checked every box i was lookin for in a trip. Intense body high within 15 min. At 45 min movement of floors and walls started to kick in. Pupils were huge. No mental confusion. Lasted a strong 8+ hours. No sleep but not restless and the thoughts didn't go dark on the come down.
I highly recommend it.

This is flush #4 on this tub. Some straighter more cube looking fruits in this flush...

I thought this cap was cool looking.

I was going to try some of these tonight, but life got in the way. It's in the plan for tomorrow night though.

First flush from outdoor trashcan.

Some of the bigger ones before decapitation and drying.

Well I ended up eating some nats tonight. I ate a little over 1.5g to test, my gf ate 1g....we both really liked them!
The most noticeable thing to me was the smooth come up. With cubes I always feel like there's turbulence before breaking above the clouds...with these all of a sudden I was just above the clouds. Really clear headspace. The body feeling was absolutely incredible! OEVs were wavy and similar to cubes, but also had an up and down stretching effect going on. CEVs were shimmering and geometric, like turning a mirror back and forth and catching light.
They have a stimulating quality that remind me a lot of pans...but also more gentle than pans can be. I know I took a fairly low dose tonight, but I'm looking forward to doing a bigger dose soon. I feel like I would be comfortable pushing it more with these than pans or cubes.
Definitely will be growing and eating a lot more of these. Nats are awesome!

Thanks for your replies @chris77 and @DERRAYLD
I will run some experiments myself with different ratios. The patience game has started again, just knocked up 8 jars
Any more experiences/conclusions on the soil casing?

Interesting again. So putting in solar equivalent lighting dramatically changes fruiting character...this is new compared to cubes.

Not sure if I should transfer these again or if they look good enough to go to grain. It's hard to see but in the center there is fluffy mycelium looking stuff. I heard these have different myc than cubes so I'm not sure what I'm looking for Let me know what you think I should do here.
