Mine don't appear to be turning to spaghetti type, unless that happens suddenly later. Pretty happy! I go out of town in a couple of days and hope these are ready to pick and dunk before then.

I have so many shoeboxes of these stacked up that sometimes I miss one fruiting or don't catch it in time. I let this one go too long. Not a bad flush though I don't think I'll clone it:

Here is another shoebox looking better. Dense pinset though the fruits aren't that big:

Here's the king overlay box, and hey look, a fruit!

I'm testing mixing LPEU and natalensis, so far no sign of crossing

I’ve got a Nat print on the way and I’m excited to participate. When you all get the ridiculous overlay, are you harvesting it and consuming it? I have read in this thread that it is active, but it hasn’t really been discussed much. I’m curious to see what phenotype I get. I’m rather found of the Medusa like tentacle hentai, but I also like PE blobs so tasting the overlay may be interesting.

The overlay consumes people from the inside out, that’s why there aren’t any trip reports

They did get a bit taller overnight. Now the caps have opened. Going to harvest and take a couple clones from clusters. I have spawned another tub with 2 quarts spawn and 8 quarts coir + CaCO3 + 2cm casing. Wish me luck, and thanks again for all the help.

Lol I just saw you had posted that earlier and it was a clone, I was about to ask if you’d eaten any yet.
I’m in the same boat, been holding off dosing waiting on sempervivas.
Your natal seem to have much darker caps than most. I remember that first run you did they looked very cube like, but this new tub is more typical natal looking.

I'm wondering if it could be dried? Thing is - the overlay compacts down to nearly nothing if you squeeze or press it so I just don't know how much would be left. But I will give it a shot.
