"There is a species called Natal Super Strength which is a variety on the cube." The confusion used to be that NSS is a variety of cubensis. He got it all wrong.
I was speaking to the room, not to you alone.
But this statement of yours is very incorrect:
"You don't even know the difference between a species and a variety... They are the same thing! "

It is, mostly because is taken out of context and by my own fault cuz I was in a hurry to reply. They are the same thing (NSS and PS. Natalensis)

In jars with hay-manure, Natalensis turned into a dense marshmallow within a month.I broke it into pieces and threw it into a tub of hay-manure.Let's see what grows.Perhaps it will continue to grow marshmallows.

I cannot follow wtf you are trying to say. get your thought together and make a single orderly post if you want to argue with someone who actually know what they are talking about.

Today I took another pic of a beautiful outdoor cluster that I would like to share.
If I wouldn't know that the postal service will be even slower than normal for a while, I would start another giveaway. These make awesome spore prints!

Is this the same culture you grew before without crazy overlay?
Could be more evidence of too much nutrition causing it. Cut that blob off and see if itтАЩs active!

Yes, that's all too.But unfortunately I can't try-all the mycelium grows in a tub on hay-manure.When the number increases, then I will be happy to fly with him.

I had issues with plates not germinating.
I raised the T┬░ to 22┬░C (instead of 19┬░C) and a plate that wasn't doing anything for 20 days germinated, the ones swabbed 7 days ago germinated too. It's the only thing I changed, maybe that could do the trick for you too.
Here's my trick for stubborn spores:

The 4 foot LED bars a lot of folks like to use here only get a couple degrees above ambient temp. I don't know if it's the heat or the condensation that pools on the plates, but I set them on top of it for 24 hours, and this is how I got my pan spores to hatch who didn't want to.
However, it didn't work for P-Nat. So I'm trying again. I swabbed a much larger sample from the print this time, and buried the fucker in the agar on the last one.

Note that Hay and straw are not the same. Hay has a lot more nutrition. Hay is an animal feed while straw is grass waste from grain crops(usually wheat). I believe Angam uses actual hay.

Since they have genetics for growing post cap open, going sporeless high yielder here is a direct example of specificly outcompete of cubensis,
or do cubes do this too? Grow significantly after veil drops?
Are we tripping and seeing things? Is it just a sort of delay

Some cubes barely even have a veil. My Avery's Albino isn't done growing until the caps are fully open. They start out like pebbles, nothing but cap, but finish fully formed and spongey.

Seems like this species really likes warmer temperatures. Probably around ~5F warmer than cubes
