These didn't open, had to harvest. They started to go soft and weird.
I swabbed a couple but it's all very sweaty, low confidence in the swabs. Only about 30% produced any spores, most were sporeless 😱

If you don't want to say, do you know what range these are possible in? I saw a woodlovers thread that said below 5 isn't good, and even 5 may require mulch covering in the winter.
But are cubes / Nats different?
Thank you
I have to admit that I had to Google my plant hardiness zone. So, thanks I learned something new today . According to the chart that I found online its 13 (15 - 21 degrees Celsius). We get minimum of 15 and a max of 25 degrees Celsius at the moment. I life very close to where these grow naturally.
I believe woodlovers are growing each year once you successfully started a patch, but I never grew woodlovers yet, so I can't say for sure. I think with these I will have to start a new patch each year.
Cubes and Nats are genetically quite similar, but apparently different species. I think Alan Rockefeller has done a gene sequencing of these. It must be a little further back in this thread.
Today I harvested the first outdoor batch. I enjoyed it even more than doing indoor harvests! I wonder if the potency will be comparable to indoor fruits. They definitely look tasty.

Can anyone spare a spore. I'd sure love to get on this crazy train wit ya'll. I like the sound of the challenge of growing them plus all the positive trip reports I've been hearing.

Spaghetti doesn't grow anymore. Now a straight and strong mushroom comes out.The temperature at fruiting is 20-22 degrees Celsius.

Wonder if they'd grow on honey (and nothing else)? Or molasses. Or dextrose.

Big fruit for first flush, looks great.
This is my second flush action. Don't harvest myc unless you want a screwy second flush, the sub puts work into replacing it (lol wtf).
Fluffy myc is growing back instead of pins- vs the sub I left alone which is focused on fruit.

I streaked six plates of P-Nat from a vendor on 11/18. This was the tiniest spore print I have ever seen!
Here's hoping the vendors actually have what it's supposed to be, and these genetics are ok.
