If I had taken the transfers sooner I would probably have more plates with uniform cultures. There's clearly that wet bubble funk which crept theough with #9.

10g agar ~8g malt ~2g nutritional yeast flakez
My current go-to recipe, works nicely I think in general, needs swirled well though. Probably gonna buy yeast powder next order.
Prompt transfers seems to be half the battle. Lots of germination, but some was ugly looking white. Once that shit mixes I don't know how plausible sectoring becomes.

I measure each bottles portion and just toss it in, add water, PC. Seems not to matter but perhaps I shoukd spend a few minutes to make a batch and then portion it.

That's generally how my first flushes go but then they'll get huge fruits in the 2nd and 3rd flush. Looks like youve avoided the overlay nicely...

They ended up getting bigger than I expected. These are a really cool species to watch grow. They kinda remind me of pans a little bit
I wish I had time to print and clone from this tub, but I'll do that for the mono

Yeah I haven't tried them raw yet because the last batch I had was infested with gnats. Started some new natal culture to popcorn though, next time I'll just eat like 40 or 50 fresh

40 or 50 fresh will fuck you up hard... cubes don’t have any effects on me whatsoever but I had 4 tiny tiny natalensis at 6g fresh and this fucked me up way more than than 5-10g cubensis ever did

That tub came out great. No layover and a decent amount of good size shrooms.
They do grow different from cubes, sometimes they break the veil and still double in size.

So if the recommend spawn / sub ratio for P-Nats to prevent overlay is 1:4, will one quart of spawn do a monotub?
I've never done a monotub but seem to remember some people use 4 quarts for 1 tub.

You need a light source above the FC if you want strait fruits.

Thanks AKA. I noticed that shortly after posting this photo. The veils seem to break much sooner than cubes.

Yeah I have quite a bit of light above the tub. I think tamps behave the same way in response to ceiling lighting
