3 grams Natalensis in a tea last night, had barely perceptible effects, kindof like a light MDMA ride. Didn't achieve any visuals until eating another 2g of Ecuador×PF cubes and hit the spicepipe. (Even then, it was just... mild). I waited months since the last trip, not a tolerance issue this time. EVERYTIME I have tried these Natalensis, this is exactly what happens. And they bruise heavier than ANY other kind I've got except maybe pan. cyanescens. Maybe my strain just isnt a great alkaloid ratio?
Im very sad now because I have spent alot of time preparing for this one. I tried to be "ceremonial" about it, but it seems to not work as well if it isn't spontaneous like at a party or something (which I haven't even heard of in years). Honestly I don't know where to go from here, can't tell if this is just a timing issue or a sign of something deeper. Can't follow the MAOI diet well enough to do aya (EVERYTHING IS FUCKING SOY!) and my stomach just seems to get wrecked when I try to do anything now anyways... which prevents me from even enjoying the journey or even learning from it. Has anyone else ever come to this point, and what did you do about it? Ive heard of people eating massive doses and still not getting a satisfactory effect. The most Ive ever taken at one time is around 6g, I can't imagine what anymore than that would be like on my stomach...
"When youve gotten the message, hang up the phone!"
...But this is a fucking awesome phone! No part of me wants to "hang it up", Id stay on the line permanently if it didn't impede regular life quite a bit. The prospect of psychedelics just "not working" on me is honestly very troubling. Why is this happening, and what can I do? Earlier this year I had a few extremely potent experiences, since then it's just been failed trip after failed trip. Waited abt 2 months until this one (also because of lower back/leg issues).
-Is this why I could never find them, and had to start growing them myself in the first place? Do all growers just get burnt out and don't even wanna look at the stuff anymore?

Lol not the maks but like with regular cubes usually when I pop a big cluster off there’s some thick myc at the bottom that I take off. Mostly cuz I like doing it, it’s like popping bubble wrap.
You know the ones when you turn the cluster upside down and you can see the circles from all the stems but they’re connected with myc.

Those plates are just Nat, got some print left, but not much so I'm gonna grow these out take prints, share, and cross with my own Melmac swabs, whatever is fresh and sexy at the time will get criss crossed on agar. Maybe let some of the plates fruit in my most tried and true method

I've heard that before from people making tea with Nats. Next time try eating them.
" Do all growers just get burnt out and don't even wanna look at the stuff anymore? " I can't speak for everyone but in my case yeah, kind of... After 1 year + of regular dosing I just don't want to. But I probably will from time to time.

I received a Natalensis print from Odyssey
It was put to agar on Thursday afternoon. One of the plates already germinated!
~2,5 days!!! Never seen that before

After many weeks this is all that came from the cakes first flush. I'm just happy it made some fruits.
The little ones veil broke so I picked it, should I pick the big one before it's veil break or leave it for a day or two?
If I dunk this cake in water again overnight to re-hydrate it should I pull off all the overlay or do I dunk it just like it is?

People have pulled it off without issues, it might even help? Plus it's active and IIRC has MAOI?

Cutting into a clone named aka-1-4, imagining the agar was the corrupt politicians that keep shrooms illegal.
Those mold like areas tho makes me think of all the mycoparasite talk we get there.

It really looks like 2 separate fungi on there. Is that normal for these? Gotta try these soon.

Yeah it looks like there’s just three colonies on there.

Natalensis has more trouble with proprionic acid than cubes so, it seems like.
The milo here is untreated and just 6 days old. The oats are treated with proprionic acid and are 18 days old.

The oats are producers pride from tractor Supply. It was my understanding they were untreated when I bought them so I just didn't check. I think things have changed and they started treating them.
Cubes would normally be fully colonized by now, even with my bad oats. The Nats are going slower even though they're way more aggressive on agar than the cubes.
