Yeah. I once had them at 27C and they were very fast.

I wonder if there is a way to induce mutations. I remember some folks talking about using UV lights for this but don't remember seeing any results.

I think I read something about putting the spore prints under uv but idk.
Anymore mutations and natalensis might come to life.

Natalensis seems like a great candidate to find a giant shit pile on a farm somewhere, dump a couple quarts of spawn in it and watch it take over the place like kudzu.

Here is a little update on my shoebox clone test. These are all 1:3 spawn:CV uncased. They're all looking and preforming pretty similarly... but we'll see. I'd decide which culture to keep by whichever puts out the most weight.

heh cool to see that other growers also label their clones as simply 'VARIETY#', like NAT1 and NAT2 or RW1 and RW2. I've been doing it like that since I started except in cases when there's some additional trait worth noting (and also for plate pin clones such as NAT PP1)
I'm really liking Nats more than cubes, they are voracious.

I think #2 is gonna be the winner.
Interesting how small a lot of those are.

I should take bets! I'll keep you all posted... I was thinking #3 myself, but that might be because its a little farther along than the others. I have x3 shoeboxes of each going so I should get a pretty good idea of how each preforms.

Was #3 the fat boy clone? Can’t remember all the names properly just the fat one and tall one.

Nice man. Can definitely see some of the traits even at early stages. Hopefully they work out nicely.

I read through the first 40 pages and stopped there. Did Alan ever sequence these and find out if they’re cubes or not?

Wondering if these are close enough to cubes for the possibility of crossbreeding them...

Loomy yours gets that same black bruising from the spots where you pick one. Glad to see it's characteristic of these...
