My tolerance was through the roof since I started doing this... I'll be trying them out again tonight after a 6 week break. Everybody who's tried them said theyre the most potent kind they've ever had tho.
I have never seen rhizomorphic growth as vigorous and heavy as with this species (I dont know if theyre any specific variety, the print was just labeled as "natal"). It will try to crawl out of whatever you put it in.
Haven't really done any genetic work yet, it'd be nice to separate a few strains from these.

Here are x2 of my shoeboxes starting to throw pins. Little to no overlay. They're both the same clone one in a dub tubbed shoebox the other in a JCM FC. I'm testing to see how FAE effects fruit pheno. They were spawned 9/7.

Tub I posted above had no overlay. 2nd culture from another source looks like it's going to overlay. We'll see.

amazing! mine also grow skinny and curly like that.
a few days ago I went for another hike on a nearby plateau (it's like a low-elevation eroded mountain) and took 25 grams wet of multispore Natalensis fruits. Holy shit they were strong, at times they made me feel like a little kid again and at other times I was just gone

Looking forward to seeing the results. But I'll probably keep growing them in pasty's EZ dialed monos. They just grow by themselves... Maybe I got lucky with the genetics but to me it seems like they are the easiest shroom to grow.

nos: IMO these are as easy to cultivate as any cubensis. Even easier than some (still never managed to get my Puerto Ricans to fruit after 4 attempts).
Ive noticed they don't really pin in "flushes" for me. After the initial pinset they'll just keep coming up a couple of fruits at a time until it runs low on moisture or nutrition. They also don't seem to be harmed by bacteria... Good species for a beginner (other than the blobbing).

I suspect side by side at higher temps will show natalensis is slightly faster too. Once someone establish a fattie albino strain i bet that will reach the upper echelon of grower's interest fast as fuck Been seeing some mega fast colonization with it too.

Yeah me too actually... or in dub tubbed shoeboxes with the lid slightly misaligned. I'm just doing this since the JCM FC is sitting there empty. Pretty soon I'll have some Pan trays to put in there.

A little bit of crazy and a lil bit of beautiful… So a month or so ago I was doing an inoculation session in front of the flow hood. I had some oysters, some wood lovers ( Azurescens & Cyanescens ), Natalensis, and Cubensis. Well some of my grain jars were about 1/3 grain and 2/3 wood sawdust. Well when I got to my second or third Natalensis jar … I ran out of pure grain jars and only had the wood / grain jar and I said “What the hell?” And tossed a Natalensis wedge in there. Well it didn’t like the sawdust, but it did move through it and colonized most of it. Then fruits started forming on the sides and eventually I opened it up. The first curly fruit (bottom pics) is when the jar was fully sealed, the second fruit (big one and his little buddy) formed when the jar lid was just sitting on top (infact the fruit lifted the lid off…
