PitcherCrab said: Sup guys! I just came home from a trip to a surprise, looks like I got lucky with my natalensis culture! No overlay so to speak, just a bunch of wiley looking pins.

I want to check in with you guys to see what you think of my plan: I'm going to take the two shoeboxes with the larger fruits and fruit them uncased in a mono. For the one with the pins that aren't really showing yet I was thinking of casing it with some untreated potting soil.
Looks like stress fruiting with them growing all wonky like that but I hope I'm wrong. Good luck.

They were in sealed up shoeboxes in the dark when they started to pin... I’m hoping things correct themself now that I’ve given them some FAE and light. We’ll see though.

Ime they grow towards the light. So if you have a light source on top you'll get straight fruits.

One box is normal and pinning. 2nd is laying down a proper mat So happy to finally have these going though! The overlay is like my most aggressive Golden Halo culture but without pins poking through.

If that doesn’t pin in a few more days I’d try adding a top layer.
Letting it blow out and consolidate for a while then throwing more coir on it seems to work pretty well for some reason.
All of mine that overlay bad and don’t pin within three weeks of spawn have just sat around and then pinned all over the sides and bottom until I recently tried adding more coir after seeing it done in here a couple times.

Just had another small trip with these this morning (0.5g). Decent visuals (just some patterns here and there) for the dosage and put me in a highly pensive state.

I just had the most intense cevs on these that I ever had. Even better than acid. They started out like those dmt visuals you see online (I’ve never done dmt) like the kelidoscopic archways and whatnot. Then it turned into like a little tv off in the corner of my eye with actual people on it. Then it turned to adventuretimeish or Rick and morty with strange cartoon people and oozing slime and flashing colors in the background. It was incredible! And it only lasted like an hour then I napped for an hour and now I’m done. Wow that was fun I also took my morning supplements and that may have impacted the experience. If anyone’s interested I’ll include those in a post later today

My brother got pissed on by the grinch as a cev on nats and I've had weird visuals too involving piss. Idk why it's all piss related, maybe shrooms really do make you gay

It really makes me wonder how that works how do I or eyes see that and like when our ancestors and them did they see things that they’ve never seen before or was it always some thing that they already understood

Sometimes it blows my mind thinking about what people must’ve thought about mushrooms thousands of years ago. Like movies and electricity and stuff can kind of desensitize or prepare you for stuff you’ll see tripping but I can’t imagine what people in the Stone Age must’ve thought.

They'll just eat through any casing you apply at that point. One day when I'm really bored I'll see how tall i can get the overlay to go.

Not poting soil. There's nothing to eat in it and it's full of bacteria and stuff. I always get a canopy when I use poting soil as a late casing / top layer. Just 3-4 mm.

That is interesting. This is a peat/Verm casing but all it did was add more moisture retention to the tub. What do now?
