Definitely dry. It's just straight up Coco and it got ignored the past few days due to the holidays. Getting misted in few minutes.

Personally i wouldnt risk getting sick by eating a bad fungus. I wouldnt lick a basement wall either. No matter How dry it gets. The wrong fungi can really hurt you. Bacteria included

Ya im on the fence about it. This grow was more for experience/fun than producing fruits to eat. I'll examine them when dry and see if I feel daring or not lol

Eh.. I’ve eaten worse. If you are gonna eat them, I’d pick them now... those fruits don’t appear to have direct contamination, just dry.

As fine as they may be I will not accept personal liability if they make you sick. Just my opinion.

If you plan on bulk runs in the future I'd highly recommend just making your own. They're a bit overpriced for how limited space gets. Small ones are probably convient for regular shoebox grows

I throw out contamination as soon as i see it. I consider keeping it around bad practice

Tracked down a nesco for 40 bucks. I was originally looking to diy one but time and stealthness is leading me to just buy one. Plus I wanna do some jerky! Lol.

In the future I will too. This was just an experimental run.

Ok. Just remember though that keeping contamination around only increases spore loads in your grow area. Best of luck in your future grows!

Quick update. Harvested the 2 biggest fruits. Dehydrator seller bailed on me last minute. Currently drying in cardboard box on top of paper towel with pc fans(one fan blowing up from bottom and one from the side). Thinking I'll grab a cheap dehydrator, Anyone have experience with those cheap saltan dehydrators?

Hey Faht. I need a pro to tell me what I'm already thinking lol. I just harvested my first fruits and bought a dehydrator. Since the dehydrator was new(to me) I didn't feel comfortable leaving it unattended for 24hours plus so I did a 8 hour dry at 120° overnight and then packed them up in a ziplock bag on top of rice thinking that would help draw out any moisture that may be released. After checking on them approx 14 hours later there's a strong sour smell coming from the fruits. Am I safe to assume these have rot and/or contams and are now not safe?

Are they turning black and slimy? If they look like normal dry fruits I’d say you’re ok.. personally, I’d make tea with them at that point.. totally up to you though.. I’m not there to smell/look at them, so there’s only so much I can contribute.

You’ve destroyed enough actives, by leaving them wet for days, that IMO the risk isn’t worth it.
If you have no other fruit, do the lemon tek. But make sure to use a couple coffee filters and do NOT squeeze it to get those last few drops.
