Frontline documentary of the camp fire. Super intense
People burned down to their skeletons by wildfire. “This lady had to put her makeup on. She died because of it.”

Global warming is known to happen since around 40 Years by now. The broader public doesn't want to know no one wants to change lifestyle. It will be interesting to see how global warming will do what reasoning failed to do.

I don't think you fully grasp how much water is needed for a forest fire. A 55 gallon drum weighs roughly 400lbs. Which is enough water to put out like maybe a small flaming sapling. If each tree requires around 1000 gallons and there are 10,000 trees on fire, that's like 75 million pounds of water

Have there been reports of people setting these fires intentionally?

Probably. Most have been started by lightning.

It's getting t the point where you would need a few missile strikes to blow away the fire. Damage is done anyway.

Giant fires happen, the areas that were populated were burned when the natives left, but the uninhabited areas eventually burn on their own and ferociously.
That's why they burned when they left it created fire breaks.

Early in the season there were a few kids who got pulled up for setting fires intentionally, but that seems to have stopped now. It's no longer a game.
It'd take a true psychopath to light a fire intentionally in these conditions.

I saw the editor of the Australian is whining about the climate change narrative coming from the rest of the press.

Yeah, well. That's probably pretty unpopular news for a lot of very rich people. The Australian panders to the rich.

It can scoop 1400 gallons in 10 secs. Australia is surrounded by water.
Sure it won't stop it 100% but I can def help.

You're right Donnie. They are probably just dumb Aussies and never thought of that

They are using water bombers to protect houses where possible. But trying to put out the main fires with them is pointless.
Eucalypt fires are something else hey. These trees burn hotter than hell and the oils turn into vapour/gas, which burns even hotter. Trying to put out gas fires with water just doesn't work.

my thought was that water bombing with ocean water was bad news bears for vegetative growth due to salt like how California burns and has water problems but it's a coastal state
