i concur. though, in my life, 2020 is going to have some major downers; this past week has nearly confirmed that. i'm holding out hope that 2021 will be the segue into a new beginning (or ending). just gonna ride out 2020 like it's 2019, business as usual.

huh? tons of great music has been made in the past 10 years. you are not looking....
Art is subjective so your particular fancy may not be mine, but there is so much music easily available from any "genre" you prefer just by searching.
I made a lot of bad decisions in the 2010s, which led to a bad couple years, but experience gained and onward.
Happy new years! be safe out there everyone

Yeah man, I found a shitload of great music in the past decade. There’s just so much music now, in total, that it’s kinda daunting finding new stuff that you enjoy. There’s a lot of really bad stuff to weed out. But I know what I like, and I pay attention to record labels that output it, so the decade has been decent in that regard.

Paradigm shift.
Humanity and each human separately will need to get their heads out of their asses and go from a competitive wasteful society mode to a synergizing resource conserving society.
The chaos in your personal life will increase until you choose to cooperate, then you get higher clarity. You need to shed your worst fears that have you hold off people and cooperate with people.
It took me all of 2019.
It initially cost me my sanity, and I drove it home by sacrificing my drug of choice, MXE. and moving from a drug based life to a people-based life.
For you it will be something completely different, but synergizing with people is the idea.

Right, im not to picky, I can listen to almost anything. Even so there is so much music available today that 1 man would be hard pressed to listen to it all. That said you have to "weed out" shit, name of the game, there is more good shit out there so there is 10x as much mediocre shit. a 30sec listen as your browsing will give you a general idea. If you dont like it move on.

What's gonna happen? What do you think?
I think it's the green decade. The environment will be the priority for the western world. AIDS will be a thing of the past and cancer will become an almost fully treatable disease. Massive solar panel farms will become popular in many countries. The Jews will win VS Palestine. The middle East will be a shitshow still. China will take over as the biggest economy of the world. We will have a working amount of knowledge about brain-machine interface. We will land of Mars for several reasons. The US will still be as retarded as it is. The Ottawa Senators will win the Stanley Cup!!! (I hope)
I like your predictions! Well most of them. Hell yeah us Jews will win, let us hope peacefully (somehow).
I don’t think China will take over as the biggest economy. There is a thing in history with empires where if you treat your citizens poorly and overreach in an obsession to control them, you lose. See USSR.
I think the people of China have a huge amount of spirit and are tiring of being so repressed. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we see some sort of large scale rebellion or war happen in China during this decade. I think thats probably just a matter of time, actually.

Regarding music - of course we can say there is some great stuff from the last decade, but much of it has yet to age properly. Here in another 10 years, in the 30's, I imagine many tunes from the 10's will be remembered fondly, even if they are not yet.

The last decade was by far the most growth packed, uncomfortable, soul-destroying, uplifting decade of my life.
I'd like to think I learned and earned some EXP points from 2010-2020. Hoping to apply that EXP to life endeavors and take my shit to the next level.

I feel like everything has been one long blur since about 2009. Like 2009 -2011 might as well be one year in my timeline. I played in so many bands and smoked so much pot it was a blur.
